"Daughtry is like your favorite tshirt and worn jeans. They’re comfortable, wouldn’t trade them for anything and never get old."

I meant to post earlier this week about my guy, but with other events going on, it doesn't seem as important. I'm still proud of my fella for getting in KB's car (class act)..........
Thinkin of VA Tech.....
just can't get the images out of my head...
"Ha give me something to believe in
give me something to believe in
I said the lord above
give me something to believe in
oh lord arise
give me something to believe in
you take the high road
give me something to believe in
and I'll take the low road
give me something to believe in
you take the high road
I know I've been MIA lately. Just going thru a ruff period right now. I try to check in, but don't always post. Just feel like I'm on a never ending road, with no exits, and it's scaring the beejeezus outta me.
Saying a prayer for Kelley Earnhardt Elledge today as she undergoes surgery.
Not much exciting to report here. Pretty blah. Listened to my Daughtry to and from the 'burgh today. Made the drive (during rush hour) much better.
The temp job I had is over already. Guess I work a little too fast and got the project done sooner than I thought. Onward with the search.
And so it goes...........
What an excellent show!
What the?
Is it really that difficult?
Hmmm........
Oh well. Such is life.
Well, the day has finally came and went. And I must say, it was worth the wait. Everything about the bands was great. The two opening acts were petty good. And Chris and the Band, what can I say. They ROCKED the house. It was amazing to see Chris live. I wish I would have had a better place to watch from, but I made the best of it. I was standing on my tippy toes, holding the camera up (with dying batteries to boot), looking up to see if I could make out anything that remotely looked like Chris, and taking the pic. It was like a Shot in the Dark, as Ozzy would say.
THE PENS ARE STAYING!!!! WOO HOO!!!
TOMORROW'S THE CONCERT!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!
Only way it could get better was if I had won the VIP's. But, such is life. Atleast I'll be there. What to wear, what to wear...........oh, and I can't forget my camera. Must charge my batteries. Can't forget the tickets. UGH!!! So much to think about and it's almost 24 hours away!!! UGH!!!!
Can't wait!!! Hope to meet some of you gals downtown (dang, I wish I knew how to spell that with the Pittsburghese!) And no offense, but I hope to meet the band even more.
