I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...Daughtry rocks! From the very first time Chris was on American Idol, I knew there was something special about him. Before he auditioned, they showed a clip about his life. His character was the first thing that impressed me. He really loves his wife and considers her kids his own. A lot of men could not and would not want to take on that kind of responsibility, especially at his age. On top of that, the first time I heard his voice (when he auditioned) I got chills all over and knew I was going to have to watch every single episode just to see and hear what he would do next. Every week he had me on the edge of my seat. You knew he would try to make every song his own and not just copy it. Thank God for TIVO. I would play his performance over and over again just to hear his interpretation of the song. He always knew just how to put that special touch on a song. When he left the show I was so disappointed. I knew he would make it on his own but I hated the fact that I would have to wait for his album to come out. The album exceeded my expectations. The band is awesome because they add to his strength. I believe if they remain humble and thankful to God they will continue to have great success.
