In response to Reynolbb's post: Just wanted to let everyone know that the Green Zone Pass ( pit pass) does not guarantee you a spot on the track for the show. I was there for Nickelback a couple years ago and they clear the pits before the concert starts. I checked with the track employees this year and at first they told me the same thing, you needed a pit pass to see the concert. I called back and spoke to someone else because of my experience with Nickelback. I was put on hold and the employee told me that the Green Flag ( pit pass) does not guarantee that you can watch the concert from the track infront of the stage. The pits are a cool experience and if you can do, go for it. Never know, maybe you can hide out somewhere until the concert starts. I'd try. LOL
50/50
Well it looks like the whole experience thing is split right down the middle. I live about 25 minutes from Merryweather. I have attended concerts here for years. Never in all my times, have I hated it as much as this night. Funny thing is, we didn't have any traffic issues. We left Baltimore at 5:45pm. We made it there before the show started and we parked on the lot of the venue. Our problem was trying to decide which line was longer to get in. After walking up behind the lawn area we pretty much stood in line for about 25 minutes to get in. In all my years, I have never had to stand in a line to get in this place. Daughtry sounded great, to bad I missed half of the performance. By time we got to the paviliion, we were able to catch maybe 3 or 4 songs. Course my favorite 2 songs were played first. Personally I think the ticket price for our seats were over priced. Face value was 72.00 and with surcharges, 83.00. We were about 6 rows from the end of the paviliion. The only reason we didn't do the lawn is because of rain but we ended up outside anyways because it was just to hot under the paviliion. We went to eat during Stained because we all came right from work.
