I am a fan (and you should be too), because...Chris got his start on American Idol, which is the show that brought me and my best friend Crystal closer than ever! I have lived in three different states in the past year and I couldn't really call any of them home. I lived in Oklahoma while the American Idol was on last season and had been there a little less than a year and my husband and I were about to have to move again for his job. I had my house all packed up and ready to move, but the catch was that we had no idea where we had to go. The night Chris got voted off I was sitting at my friend's house and we were already sad about me having to move but hopefully it would have to be very far. We were watching American Idol when I got a call from my husband saying that we had to move to Lubbock, TX, 12 hours away from our closest family member! I was devastated and started crying and then right after that Chris got voted off. I will never forget that night. That night Crystal and I promised that when Chris started touring that we would go to his concert together. It just so happens that a year later he is playing in Little Rock, AR, which is close to where I am living now, on the day of my 24th birthday! I bought the tickets and called my friend so not only do we get to see each other for the first time in 8 months, we get to see Chris in concert on April 2nd!!!!!! He is an awesome performer and so down to earth you can't help but like him! My 24th birthday is going to rock in Little Rock on April 2nd!
