Chris & the guys, this concert was absolutely unreal. I have been to other concerts in my life, but this was the first time seeing Daughtry perform, and all others pale in comparison. My two best friends & I went for my friend's Bachelorette party! We bought matching shirts that said "McHottie Daughtry" on them, and we were sitting in Row B. I was mesmerized by the performance.. It is one thing to hear your songs and rock out on the radio/tv, but to see you guys life in person with that energy level and performance level was amazing. You guys rocked it all night and above all you looked like you were having just as much fun playin as we were listenin! Chris, you made the concert personal for each of us. I know that it must seem like a routine for you to go out and play every night, but you poured your heart out to us with each song. Instead of just standing up there and singing, you performed every note & with each sarcastic comment inbetween sets I fell even more! (A for effort!!) I knew nothing about Charlotte & even less about Ovens Auditorium, but I can't imagine seeing you anywhere else. I'm glad it wasn't an arena setting because this venue made it much more intimate. I realize that I don't know you personally, but I think you are a stand-up guy & a class act professionally. You went out of your way to make sure we got to see you up close & personal, shaking hands and potentially risking being molested. Touching your hand at the end of the night was a definite highlight, and I'm pretty sure you don't realize the effect you have on someone when you look in her eyes, but the whole night was like a surreal experience...I didn't want it to end.I have pictures to carry with me, but you definitely left me wanting more =)This may have been my first Daughtry concert, but it will definitely not be my last.
PS- The new song gave me chills (as did "Imagine"). If you record it, it needs to be acoustic just like you sang it last night. Your voice is amazing.
