I was talking to Gwen Sacey on the board here and she asked me last week after they had already annouced the Columbia, SC VIP winner and it was not me, Gwen or Rebekah. She then says hey lets just see if we can get tickets. So needless to say a day later we had a hotel room at the Hampton Inn right next to the venue and 3 tickets. Thank god my work was very nice and understanding to give me 2 days off. Even thought I think my work is wondering if I will ever have enought of Daughtry.

The three of us decided that were going to be the "GA Girls" and set out to have a damn good time. As Gwen said in her review we came up with the Daughtry drink it consist of Volka, Pineapple juice and a splash of Tonic. Very good trust me we were feeling no pain.

After having several drinks we decided to go check out the buses and the venue. Since the line was still fairly short we took off to the buses meet several of Daughtry's road crew and just had a good time talking to them. While we were standing there "CHRIS" came out and signed one autograph and went straight to the bus. My only chance to see him and I was on the wrong side of the fence.

If, by chance, you were wondering how you might send a special birthday wish to your favorite guitar player, then I have just the blog for you. Come on in.

Myself and 4 other enterprising DO members have decided to organize birthday projects for each member of the band. I am heading up the project for Josh Steely. This will be a work in progress, so the plan may change slightly according to the response received. As it stands now, the plan is to make a notebook (or notebooks) filled with pages of "Happy Birthday" wishes from DO members. Guidelines, mailing address and an ongoing list of DO members that I have received pages from can be found below.

Guidelines and Suggestions:

Keep your submission to one 8.5"x11" page. You can use the front and the back of the page. Use whatever kind of paper you wish, but keep it 2-dimensional (feel free to use photos). I am getting a box big enough that you will not have to fold your page.

The sheet needs to be birthday related and pictures are ok. Please only 8.5 x 11 sheet and not to thick.

Until I get my P O Box you can email me at the above address and I can give you my home address.

Everyone needs to start working on their birthday card since Josh birthday is August 24th.
