I am a fan (and you should be too), because...I have a four year old son who has several different special needs to include being deaf (can hear with hearing aids) and Chris Daughtry allowed my son and I the opportunity to bond during American Idol. Nick (my son) and I were Chris fans as soon as the auditions started, Nick would clap for those he liked and walk out of the room for those he didn't. I argued with my best friend for the first several weeks over how incredible Chris was and I argued with my husband as to why he should watch this season. As the show went on Nick was glued to the TV everytime Chris appeared so my husband had to watch and he too became a fan. When Chris was on you could find Nick and I dancing. It become a joke in our family, everynight Nick would ask me if American Idol was on, if he saw a commercial or ad he would ask me if Chris won. It was the greatest family hour of the week in our house.

I received the Daughtry CD for my b-day in Nov. and it has not left my car. My son ask for Daughtry everytime we go somewhere. Nick will turn off his DVD player and ask for Daughtry, it is the greatest thing to hear him clap along and dance to music I enjoy. Trust me everyone of all ages enjoys Daughtry just ask my four year old, he went from Barney, Wiggles and Blue's Clues to Daughtry!!!

So I am a fan and you should be too, because....my beautiful son Nicholas says Daughtry is Mommy's favorite and Nicky's favorite too, so it should be EVERYONE's favorite!!!
