I wish I could explain all the reasons I'm such a huge fan, but it wouldn't make sense to anyone else. Of course I'm gonna jot it all down anyway:
I don't like rock music.... there, I said it. I'm just not a fan of some guy screaming into the microphone not making any sense, call me crazy, but it's not my thing. I also like music to sound good, instumentally, vocally, all of it. Why can't rockers get that together? Well, one finally has. Not only is Daightry's music great, but his vocals are phenomenal! I can't believe someone actually got it right. Even when he's loud, I can still understand the words. And what words they are, I'm not entirely sure who all got together to write these songs, but they are some of the best I've heard. beautiful, inspiring, moving; they hit you in a way you wouldn't expect. Now od course I'm as shallow as the next person and i think Chris is about the most gorgeous example of the male part of our species (and I mean every bit of that) but that's what helps pull it all together. People want the whole package, good music, good looks, and a group that can put a smile on your face no matter what's going on in your life. At that moment, you can't help but just feel good. These are the reasons why I'm forever a fan, faithfully. (yes, i love journey too)
So Awesome
OMG, he concert was fantabulous! I'm a huge Daughtry fan...me and my sister both. We both went to enjoy the show and were far from disappointed. I'm so glad that the band was able to make it down here.....I've been a fan since american idol and actually quit watching the show last season after Chris got voted off.....and when the CD came out, i was sooooo exstatic! When i bought the CD and saw all the people who worked so hard to help get it out, i was even more thrilled. You did an awesome job...BTW, when the next CD gets started, try to get the rights to "Black" by pearljam....cuz wow oh wow, that was the best rendition of that song I've ever heard, and it is my favorite song...so I'm the biggest critic on that one. Again, great job and thank you sooooo much for putting on such a great show. Who knows..maybe someday we'll duet a song together.....well, a girl can dream I suppose.
