I am a (super) fan (and you should be too), because...i had just moved to Browns Summit, a close neighbor to McLeansville, when Daughtry fever began...as soon as it started i was just obsessed on hearing his music on American Idol... I was one of those people staying up all hours of the night to vote for Chris to make sure that he stayed in the game, but the night he was cast off American Idol, i was suprisingly happy, because rumors had spread that he would start his own new bad, and i knew that he would grow and become a better performer than any of the American Idols todate. When i heard that Chris was coming to the "McLeansville Shopping Mall" i immedialty started to plan how i was going to attend. I was talking to one of my friends at school in my piano class, and found out she also wanted to go, but since i had only had my license for 5 months i had a restriction times that i could drive, which meant i could not leave home till 4:30am to meet my friend and drive to McLeasville. you better believe that i was in my car at 4:00 waiting on 4:30 to arrive so i could be there as soon as possible... i had already been there the night before at around 11:00pm scooping out where the best place would be and also stopped in the shop and bought the big sign, and a t-shirt... as i picked up my friend, we took window chalk and wrote Chris Daughtry Rocks in Rockingham (where my friend was from) and a bunch of other stuff like Honk for Chris Daughtry..(which i left for several weeks after the concert) i ended up arriving at the place at around 5:30 am and waited till 9:30 when chris would preform...i was so hoping to get a chance to meet Chris that i even volunteered to get my head shaved to meet him, or even to get to see him better because of the body guards in front of us kept blocking the view...
but someone else beat me out to it...thats why I would love to get a chance to come to see you in concert again where i could bring my friend and we would get a chance to finally meet you in person...and i would also love to be able to come to one of your concerts even if its a school night. I have watched almost all of your performances on TV (hoping for a snow day tommorrow to catch you at 9:00

my car before the concert....it was still dark outside so we had to use flashlights

as close to meeting you as i ever got (McLeansville Show)
