TEXT: IT'S a sunny afternoon in Florida and rocker Chris Daughtry is getting ready to perform before 40,000 people – his biggest crowd yet.
The event is being held at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando and a number of fans
have been camped out in front of the stage since noon waiting for the 9pm performance.
"I just had to see how brilliant he is for myself," said Karen Abba, 40, a British teaching assistant who flew out with friends for the show.
