I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...my wife says so. No, seriously. These guys are amazing. The first time I heard him, my wife was watching Idol. I had never gotten into it, but I heard someone singing "The Letter", but it was a version I had never heard before, and I was amazed. That night, my wife put Chris tops on her list, and instantly, I was hooked, too. Chris definitely made that season worth worth watching.
My wife has been to see Daughtry a couple of times live (I couldn't go either time), and she said that they were the best concerts she had ever been to , and I know that she has been to a lot of them in her life. She ran out and bought the album the day that it came out, and I have to say that was the best fifteen bucks she has ever spent. I don't care who you are, how old, what gender, etc. you will find a song on there that you can relate to.
Chris did a great job on Idol, but now he and the rest of the band are on to bigger and better things. I would like to thank Chris, Josh Paul, Steely, Joey, and Brian for all their hard work and dedication that they have put forth. I have truly enjoyed being a fan. To see my wife smile when she hears Daughtry on the radio is wonderful. Hope we'll get to meet the guys one day. Keep on rockin'!
