simply put, because of his passion. Even looking back at Chris' Absent Element days, he has SO much passion for his music and just for life. His love for his wife and children shine through just in the way he speaks about them in such high regard. Although I was crushed, as most were, when Chris got the boot on AI, true fans recognized something in him from that first audition and that is the Chris we have followed - and we weren't disappointed because we knew there would be a lot more coming from him. The way he sings, the way he moves, the way he so deeply feels connected to his lyrics - it amazes me every single time I watch him perform. He seems oh so humble and down to earth and that just gives him even more of a charismatic appeal. I immediately tried to get tickets when I heard Chris would be within a few hours of home and they were already sold out so here I am, PLEASE pick me - I respect Chris and his band for all he's been through and how he's proven that when one door closes, it seems there's always another opening somewhere soon.
