OMG! how great is this, i think this is my chance to finally see them. i havent been able to get tkts but this is just a matter of being the early bird, if i have to be there at 3am I WILL!!! i cant wait. =)
I am a Daughtry fan and u should be too...... there is something different about this group that just blows ur mind n takes u in to another place. When i listen to Daughtry i get overcome by this soothing feeling, especially when i listen to songs like "Breakdown" or "What about now". The sound of their music and the sound of Chris' voice just leaves me speechless.
It all began when i first saw Chris' audition on Idol n i fell in love with his story. As young as he is, he is a responsible husband n father to 2 wonderful kids that are from his wife's previous relationship. My brother and i were raised by my step father since he was 13 n i was 7. I have so much respect for my step father that i consider him my one n only father, my biological father didnt care about us. That might not be the case with Chris' family but he is still an EXCELLENT MAN for being there for those 2 kids who need that father figure in their lives.
It proceeded with hearing his wonderful singing voice, a voice like no other. It doesnt matter what song he chose to sing it sounded AMAZING coming from his lips, n when he looked in to the camera with his gorgeous eyes, i melted away as though he were singing to me, lol. I voted over n over after each performance. I have to admit though, that after his last performance i went to put my baby to bed n ended up falling asleep in her room, lol, by the time i woke up i was so tired that i got ready for bed n went to sleep. As i was going to sleep i remebered that i hadnt voted, but i was so tired that i figured "he's so popular, im sure he'll be ok". Well i was WRONG!! he was eliminated n i felt horribly for it. It took a very long time for me to forgive myself for not voting.. I know that i was in part responsible for him going home =(
That is why it makes me extremely happy to see how much success him and his band Daughtry are having. I no longer feel like May 9th was the day i lost a part of my heart. In fact i am happy that he didnt win....they say things happen for a reason. Not only that but it gave him a chance to be part of a band as opposed to a solo artist. Although Chris is the frontman of Daughtry, the band is composed of 4 other members, Joey, Josh, JPC, and Brian, who make it all happen.
I cant think of anyone being dissapointed by Daughtry. Just have a taste of what they have to offer. You, like myself, will be addicted!!!!!.

i just got back from the show about an hour ago and it was UNBELIEVABLE!!
you guys were amazing and so down to earth. I loved each and everyone of you!!! you sounded great. i would love to catch a whole show, but even though u only performed 3 songs it was still great, and i now can say that i've seen you perform live which is what i was dying for =)
Chris you were exactly how i imagine you would be as far as how u looked and the great personality you have!! U'RE AMAZING!
i wish i could go on without washing my right hand (after u touched it) but i cant so i will just cherish this day in my heart!!
