I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
Chris Daughtry has the most amazing voice and he is such a genuinely nice guy (I don't think you can fake that). DAUGHTRY appeals to a lot of different audiences as well as age groups (I am a 54-year old grandmother who loves country music). I heard the songs on the album on iTunes before it was released and already loved it. I had pre-ordered it from amazon.com but didn’t want to wait for it, so I was at my local WalMart at 6:15 a.m. on 11/21. They didn’t have the CDs set out yet so I asked the sales associate to go into the stock room and get me one. She did and I was so happy. I was in Target on 11/24 and I just had to buy another CD because it included a poster of Chris and the new band. I also had to download the album from iTunes so I could have the song, “Sorry.†I have a CD in both my cars and my tape player in the house and on my computer. My son says he would probably like DAUGHTRY but I ruined it for him because it’s just too freaky that his Mom is so obsessed with a rock star (I know he secretly likes DAUGHTRY though).
My husband and I spent our 32nd anniversary in Nashville on April 5, 2007, and went to DAUGHTRY's show at the Exit Inn. We didn't get to meet the guys but my husband did get his picture made with Kellie Pickler. I didn't get to meet her because I didn't want to lose my spot close to the stage. We had a ball at the concert and I would love to meet Chris and the other guys sometime. I would also love to meet Deanna--I admire her so much!
I Got My Tickets but...
The seats are not great. Even with the pre-sale they are in the next to the top level. I'm hoping to win a couple of tickets with a chance to meet Daughtry and Bon Jovi. If I had to choose between the two, I would choose to meet Daughtry.
