I’ m a fan and you should be too
M y poem will convert you by the time I am through
A picturesque scene I’ll paint for you:
F ront man Chris, eyes closed, beautiful and bald
A microphone between his hands, the passion in his voice
reaching out to us all
N ext to him, on the left, Josh Steeley strums the lead
A nd to the right, mohawked and tattooed, is bassist JP
N ext to him Brian’s guitar riffs bring the house to their
feet
D eep in the back, Joey’s drumsticks tap the beat
Y ou see the scene, now you need to take part
O pen your ears as Daughtry climbs the chart
U ltimately dedicated they make time for their fans
S haring autographs, hugs, photos, and all that they can
H ot, talented, and down to earth – what else could you ask for?
O h I guess you could ask to see them – you’re in luck, they’re on tour
U ntil you’ve seen them live, you haven’t experienced Daughtry at their core
L oud, guitar-driven rock and roll that will leave you craving more
D aughtry tickets sell out fast so get them before they’re gone
B uying the album is another good choice; RCA wouldn’t steer you wrong
E ven though my poem must end, it’s not over for them by far
T hey’ll become known as the revolutionary rock legends who raised the bar
O ver time I will help them reach the world, on this my heart is set
O h what about you, what about now, are you a Daughtry fan yet?
