Daughtry Changed My LIfe
on Daughtry
The song Over You changed my life and gives me strength when I am weak.
I left a detailed blog about it on my profile.
Everything about this song ROCKS from the lyrics, to the music and of course the way Chris NAILS the vocals!

I must confess I DID NOT know about Daughtry till I heard him on Sirius Hits 1. I'm not a big Idol fan sorry, don't hate me.
I've LOVED everything I've heard Daughty do BUT 48 hours ago Over You changed my life.
You see, I'm going through a divorce and it's quite difficult even though the best thing that could be happening to my four children and I.
I was siting at my computer working and I heard the song come on....by the time the second verse was playing I was in tears and had to stop what I was doing.
For you see, not only do the words PERFECTLY describe my situation but also the way in which they are delivered. I have probably listened to Over You 100 times in the last 48 hours.
After an EXTREMELY difficult situation with my soon-to-be ex today I sent him an email quoting some of the lyrics...
I said "Whether we should have gotten married or not WE DID and three amazing things came from that: two beautiful little girls and a precious little boy. As the lyrics to my new FAVORITE song say:

What I was in for seeing Daughtry LIVE for the first time...OH MY GOSH!
The show was INCREDIBLE! Talented just doesn't even BEGIN to explain it.
I too, was one of the crowd waiting outside at the busses and lucky for me I was able to see Chris and who I'm almost sure was his wife, on the bus as they pulled out of the state fair. I waived, they waived back and it was awesome! The show's been out for about 3 hours now probably and I'm STILL flying.
Guys I am not the LEAST bit disappointed that you didn't come and greet the fans. You did your job (put on a show as another fan pointed out) BETTER than I could have EVER expected and I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing you again next time you are in the vicinity. If you ever want a guided tour of our beautiful state look me up! For real, I'd love to show you and your family around!
You can be bummed you didn't get an autograph or up close and personal photograph OR you can be thankful Chris came to CO at all. I personally and ETERNALLY grateful! Thanks boys for coming your show made my ummmm...day, month, year maybe even!
I am SURE you will ABSOLUTELY have a packed house next time you come to Pueblo (or anywhere else in CO for that matter) simply because you are INCREDIBLE entertainers. I've looked at ALL your tour dates through Dec 26th just to see if you're playing anywhere close enough for me to go, cuz it's worth seeing your show again.
I'd have really liked to have heard you do Sorry but maybe next time right!
Mrs. D---Thank you for sharing your husband with America! I for one appreciate the sacrifice and drama you must go through as Daughtry's wife. I took 2 kids cross country once on a bus...boy was that an adventure. I think it's awesome Chris gets to have what matters most close to him...you and your kids!
Keep rockin Chris D and the boys...I'll be a HUGE fan as long as you do!
