DAUGHTRY MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A TEENAGER AGAIN
From the moment I first heard Chris, I thought FINALLY, SOMEONE IS BRINGING GOOD ROCK BACK!!! I immediately found his connections with his other bands, specifically Absent Element, with a previous recording BREAKDOWN, purchased the CD, and very eagerly awaited DAUGHTRY to come out with their CD. THIS IS THE BEST ROCK BAND SINCE BON JOVI came out in the '80's. The vocals, music, the lyrics, the band seem to be the best of All-American rock, not alternative, not pop, ROCK. Chris has a strong unduplicated, recognizable vocal as well as smart lyrics, the planning of the guitar riffs, the drums & bass ALL GREAT. My particular favorites on Daughtry are "There & Back Again," "What I Want," "Breakdown," and "Home." I grew up in the '70's & '80's when there was ALOT of great ROCK music, and now at 33, I can honestly say I have never been so excited about a new band...NEVER. I feel like a teenager again signing up with yahoo groups, registering on fan sites, and adding DAUGHTRY to my friends list. Every time you are on tv even if you are singing "IT'S NOT OVER" for the umpteenth time, I never miss it & always record it. I never get tired of hearing your music. Thanks for making me feel younger than I already do. LOVE IT!!! I'd like to see more and can't wait for even more...
