I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...when choosing a favorite music artist or band, you are supposed to be able to get meaning from the song and be able to feel the music you are listening to. That is exactly what I do when I listen to Daughtry. I am not just listening to the words that are coming out of his mouth, I have a sense of feeling with each and every song that he sings. The songs off of his album are breathtaking. Several of the songs, I can relate to in every way, shape, and form. That is what a "true" artist/band can do to someone who is truly a fan. I am definitely that fan!!! I admire the way that Daughtry puts family before anything else in this world. That truly says something about their morals and values. The awesome thing about Daughtry is, you do not even have to love rock n roll in order to be a fan of their music. They have a way of drawing in people from all walks of life. That says alot about themselves. In my opinion, they have what it takes to move mountains and have the ability to get you "hooked" because that is exactly what they did to me. I was hooked when I saw Chris Daughtry audition on American Idol and casted my vote the whole way. I was hooked when his album was released and could not wait to buy the CD first thing that November 21st morning, and I was even more hooked when I was fortunate enough to see Daughtry perform in Kansas City last month. I would have to say that I am definitely hooked and it's the BEST feeling in the world. I feel and want to believe that I AM THEIR BIGGEST FAN!!!
