I am a fan (and you should be too), because...

Well, I never really watched American Idol the season that Chris D. was on. I watched the auditions and saw him do his song for the judges and thought right away, he needs to win this. It was nice to see something that wasn't POP-ie on that show. Granted I really like Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, but it was time for a "rocker" to come on and win, or at least, get signed a record label. I think that I'm a fan because I admire artists who write their own lyrics and work together in or with a band, and that's just what Daughtry is, in my eyes. The lyrics on this whole CD are amazing and I feel like I can connect to the majority of them, and when I can do that with an artist or group, I think of them as one of my favorite artists. This is why I am a fan.
