*update*

we tried to get tickets to the two shows here in missouri and both, although they were not sold out, said they had no tickets available. we are distraught beyond all possible imagination. all we can do now is hope that the preferred ticket club remembers who we are.... :( read on for more of our story...

We are fans (and you should be too), because... there are no words to describe how great a musician Chris Daughtry is!

He completely rocks! His music makes us feel alive and uplifts us when we are down. We were devastated when he was sent home on American Idol. We ranted...we raved...we were furious! We are so happy to see that he pushed past that moment and came out on TOP!

So the tickets go on sale tomorrow. I can't wait. See, here's the deal. My fiancee and I have watched Chris from day one. We have shared his joys and sorrows together as one. We have both cheered when he succeeded and cried when he lost. When we heard that he was moving on, i prayed that he would not take the gig with Fuel (a talented band, nonetheless, but i wanted him to find success with his own music.) and when he did, I was ecstatic. We listen to the CD nightly, and I have learned a few of the songs on the guitar as well. Every day i find a new favorite song, and I am constantly pleasantly surprised at the depth and content of both the lyrics and the music! I am SO worried that the tickets will sell out tomorrow while i am at work and we wont get them, since they have been selling out venues so quickly!. this concert means so much to me and my fiancee, as she is from St. Louis and it will give her a chance to go back to her hometown and see our favorite band at the same time. It would be phenomenal if we could meet the band as kind of an early wedding present since, for the most part, I have always been the rocker and she has been into lots of other types of music...this band is the first band that we both completely and totally agree upon. I think they are all are amazingly talented and I would love the chance to be able to tell them that in person. plus, this will be the best present I could give lisa (besides the ring, lol.) well, I hope that the guys at daughtry take what I have said into consideration and will give us the opportunity to meet them!!!
