I'm a fan (and you should be too) because I enjoyed watching him blossom as an artist on the stage of American Idol. He believed in himself and his talent. He came out week after week with strong performaces. His fan base was gigantic. I was lucky enough to see the summer concert with my sister and the crowd was wild for him! He wasn't the official American Idol, but to so many fans...he was! When he came on stage to sing, the fans showed their love & support. (My sister and I were among these screaming fans.) I love his CD and am so proud to see the success he is having with his band Daughtry. A huge appeal for me as a fan is seeing his passion and it is contagious. Life is too short not to have a passionate dream to follow.
