... I just came to see your smiling face... I love your face... I miss your face... Always!

Song Title
Always/The Story of My Life
Attributed Artist
Joey Barnes

Wow, where to start... From the moment I saw Chris on my tv screen and heard him sing "The Letter" I knew this guy was going places. His performances week after week coupled with his persona had me glued to the set. The day his fans refer to as Black Wednesday yielded many tears but deep down inside I knew this would not be the last I'd see of Chris. The grace with which he handled his departure was inspiring. Seeing clips of his home life told me what a wonderful father, husband, and just an all around amazing person he really is.

I followed the AI tour and was so touched by his performances - yes the songs were the same time after time, but each was delivered with such conviction and raw emotion - they were amazing.

But now - we have more than Chris - it's just not Chris Daughtry anymore... we have Daughtry! The search for the band I'm sure was tiring but the results... AMAZING! Joey, Steely, Josh, Brian - all such fantastic guys, awesome artists in their own rights - have blended together to create a truly one-of-a-kind band that seems so much like family and with a family like Daughtry - anyone should feel at home. Each one of them have been so kind and generous with their time to the fans - having chatted with them on myspace - I truly feel like a friend of the band and I'm hardcore and ready to travel the country for them. Laughing out loud

The music, ah the music - how it touches fans of all ages (and I'm not a tween Eye-wink). Each song has such special meaning and there are some that I can relate to so much that I feel like they were reading my heart and soul when they wrote them. The deliverance is powerful and the emotion on their faces just reaches out and touches your heart.

To have the opportunity to meet them is truly a blessing and an honor.
