I am a fan (and you should be too), because... DAUGHTRY is connected. Too many bands forget where they came from and how they came to be so successful - not DAUGHTRY. Despite being told by his producers that the debut CD would be a smash, Chris choose small venues over large coliseums to promote the CD. Then it blew up and went multiplatinum!! So, now that theY have released their sophomore CD we all assummed it would be large arenas only. Nope, DAUGHTRY gave us a 13 show intimate club tour, just for the diehard fans!! Now that's classy and grounded!! The coliseums are great for serving the masses and DAUGHTRY will easily fill them. But, we've all been there. It's much harder to make a true connection with the audience. Maybe a few people in the front rows get a little hand smack or a sweat drip, but the rest are just sitting back watching the show. In the small venues we can truly live, breathe and sweat with DAUGHTRY. I can feel the intensity of the music up close while Chris gives me those wild eyes! I can purchase reasonably priced VIP packages and get seriously up close and personal with the guys in the Meet and Greet then in the front of General Admission. This kind of interaction is unheard of by a group of this caliber and it's amazing!! These guys understand and meet the needs of their audience. Congratulations DAUGHTRY!!! I'm proud to be connected!!!
