I am a fan (and you should be too), because... from the moment Chris auditioned on A.I., I knew he would make it. This season of A.I. had by far the most talent. Chris was solid, always performing great songs and putting his own spin on them and a for sure vote for the next winner.

I was so excited when I found out that I got tickets to go see the results show when it was just Chris, Elliott, Katharine and Taylor. Of course there was no way Chris was going home, he was for sure winning Idol hands down. That afternoon, I watched Seacrest tell Chris he was going home. Literally the audience was in shock and I almost threw up on the person in front of me. I waited for hours on the sidewalk in Hollywood ... and all my hours of late night voting falling asleep didn't pay off! For sure there must have been some mistake, this so was not happening!

But, despite all of the saddness that afternoon, I had the privilege of seeing Chris sing his final song on A.I. I went home later that evening and was still in awe that he was the one to go. I still could not believe that the contestant with the most talent was going home. But, I am a firm believer in all things happen for a reason, so maybe it was a blessing for Chris to be able to leave the show and start on his album.

The first second A.I. Tour tickets went on sale, I purchased the best seats I could. My daughter, who is now 6 1/2 and I went to the concert in Orange County. Chris received the loudest applause/screams/etc and I think I went nuts when he came on stage. In fact, I know I went nuts!!! It was awesome and left me dying to see him on tour.

I have my tickets for Daughtry at the HOB in Anaheim. I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Mom, daughter and I will be there to see the man and his band with so much talent. The album is awesome and is far more than what I expected. Chris and the band are so talented and I am so glad that Chris has had this opportunity to show the world his talent.

Chris, you are an inspiration for us all and a breath of fresh air from all of the other artists out there. You are a genuine human being and so dedicated to your family that you truly are a blessing. I cannot wait to see you and the guys live. I am counting the minutes!
