I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...
As most Daughtry fans, I have been a fan of Chris Daughtry since he first auditioned on American Idol. I live in Wilmington, NC and am always excited to see someone from the state do well on the show. I was shocked when Chris was voted off, but not upset...Chris, you know you are better off now then you would have been if you had won.
As for Daughtry "The Band", I have been most impressed with their debut album. Great music and great lyrics. As for the concerts, they just keep getting better. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the band play the smaller venues...up close and personal. I joked with my sister and told her we needed to see Daughtry while they were playing small venues and headlining the shows because there was no telling who we would have to pay to see once Daughtry began opening for other bands in the larger venues...the joke was on us:-) When I found out Daughtry was opening for Bon Jovi, the paramedics almost had to be called...I LOVE Bon Jovi. I was fortunate enough to see Daughtry at House of Blues/Myrtle Beach SC, Ziggy's/Winston Salem NC, War Memorial Theater/Greensboro NC and last but not least I will being seeing Daughtry and Bon Jovi at the Greensboro Coluseum...floor seats!!!!! I have been a Bon Jovi fan since the "Run Away" days...what can I say, I am a product of the 80s and MTV. For all of you babies out there, MTV actually played music back in the day. Now that I have somewhat told my age, I was a pre-teen when Run Away was playing on MTV...I am not THAT old:-) Anyway, I can truly say I have ALWAYS been a fan of Bon Jovi and am thrilled to be seeing my two favorite bands on the same stage!
