One thing about stepping out into the public eye is just that - everyone is watching. It is tough to have to filter what one thinks and feels just to try to stay out of the negative blogs. The truth is that Chris WAS Chris before AI. He had the talents then that he has now. He used AI as a place to jump out into the public eye and he has been able to ride that to success. BUT he has obviously had to fight to get things done his way. So many artists fall into that trap of just wanting to get a CD made that they are willing to do anything to make it happen. Obviously Chris didn't fall into that trap considering that he wrote nearly every song on his CD!!! He is out there performing as Chris Daughtry. He isn't trying to play up to anyone, he just wants his band, family and fans to be happy with the outcome. Speaking for his fans - we are so very proud!! Chris - keep up the amazing work and always stay true to yourself!
