Anyone here watch "Dancing with the Stars"?
i'm a BIG fan of the show.......
the season just started.....who do you think has what it takes to win it?
i think for the guys, Mario, the Latin guy, or the football player could win it. For the girls, i think it's gonna be Kristy. Priscilla may make it pretty far, but i don't think she'll win.
and can i just take a minute and say WOW, Marlee Matlin.......i don't know much about her as an actress, but she is profoundly deaf so for her to go out there and do this and do as well as she did.......just WOW. I would LOVE to see her win, but even if she leaves the show early, she has already done SO much to show people with hearing disabilities and other disabilities in general that they can do it too.....

the only thing enjoyable on this finale other than jason taylor is usher. The show to me was so predictable. I didn't even vote because kristi won from the start of the season. BORING>
who's it gonna be? as much as Kristy and her perfect-ness has been getting on my nerves, i think she's gonna be the one who takes home the trophy tonight.....

I think Kristi, Jason and Cristian should be in the finals. I think Marissa should go tomorrow. *sorry to any fans* I like her but I don't think she's as good as the other 3. I really like the other 3 and would be happy with any of them winning. Kristi is still the overall best probably.

I'd love to see a girl win too. But, I think JT could win it. I haven't been to the DWTS boards this year but in the past they seem to go for actors and athletes with absolutely no dance type experience. I sort of do to. I expect more from Kristi since she already has the musicality down and the grace....
I'd be ok if she won, she is my fave skater of all time, but love Jason. He grew up close to my hometown. My boys played football against his school. (Not him of course)

OMG!!! i SO didn't recognize Maks in that first picture (or i guess technically it's the last....the one right below this post)!!
i was SO shocked that Marissa got saved!! i thought for sure she was going home last night......this is how i think the rest of this season is gonna go down: Marissa will be the next to leave, then Cristian. Which will leave Jason and Kristi in the top 2, and Kristi will win (<--i really want a girl to win this season and just because Kristi's been in the top of the scoreboard like, EVERY FREAKIN WEEK, i would love it if Marissa won just so someone besides Kristi wins......but between Marissa and Kristi, no doubt it's gonna be Kristi for the win unfortunately). Cristian may have been good enough to make the top two before he injured his arm, but now that he's got that injury, it's just not gonna happen....

I like everyone on the show, so I am not pulling for anyone to leave. I do hope the final 2 are Kristi and Jason since they are my personal favorites.

and did anyone else catch Kimmel last night after DWTS?? i didn't see it myself, but i saw a clip of it today on the morning news and he had Derek and Shannon on it. Kimmel asked Derek something like now that he's off the show, what's he going to do with this free time. Derek said how he hasn't had a vacation in three years so maybe he'd go somewhere. Jimmy then asked him "and where would you and Shannon be going on this vacation?" he kinda laughed it off and danced around the subject.
this morning Derek and Shannon were on "Good Morning America" and they showed that clip and asked if Derek and Shannon were an item. They still didn't say anything but THEN the people at GMA put up a pic of Derek and Shannon smooching on some beach......so i guess it's all out there now........
(and for whoever else missed the show last night!)
Cristian apparently ruptured a tendon in his arm and has to have surgery to get it fixed
but his doctor basically told him the surgery could be postponed so he could do the show........idk how that's gonna work and if Cristian will be able to dance......personally, i think he should've left the show so that he could have the surgery done to fix his arm. I mean, he could possibly do further damage by letting it go. But yes, he is going to stay on the show and dance (at least for now). It'll be interesting to see how that's going to work out. I mean, Cheryl's going to have to choreograph around the injury i would think....

that Marlee stayed in there this week! she was having a really tough time with that dance she did (can't remember which one it was, sorry) but the song and dance tempo changed so much that she was having a really hard time staying on beat and being deaf made it SO MUCH HARDER for her...
Kristi and Jason. I think they are both amazing.
I also liked Mario, Marissa and Marlee tonight. Marlee mainly because I'm amazed she is able to do this.

I LIKE. IM GOING FOR JASON. (DOLPHIN FAN SUPPORT HERE) DONT WANT KRISTI TO WIN. I EVEN ROOTED FOR ADAM AND WAS SAD WHEN HE GOT VOTED OFF. IT KINDA SUCKS THOUGH AMERICAN IDOL AND DANCING WITH STARS OVER LAPPED ON TUESDAYS.
Kristi almost got the first perfect score of the season! that was awesome!!!
Marlee also did really well tonight
Kristi is amazing. I also thought Jason, Mario and Marlee were good as well. And Cristian is a hottie.

is a really good show and fun to watch but I can only get into it if someone I really like is on there so I have not watched this season. My favorite so far is when Drew Lachey was on there b/c he was awesome and their fun dance I will never forget to Save a Horse Ride a Cowboy was awesome. I've watched the one with Mario Lopez too and there was several I liked than but Drew is still the best in my book.

That is very cool to hear, I just love her, she is so cute! I guess my teacher is friends with her, the deaf community is such a tight knit group, they all know each other

my dad knows someone who worked with Marlee Matlin...i guess she used to be on a TV series where she played a deaf lawyer (i know she recently played a deaf lawyer on "My Name is Earl", but this was awhile back we're talking about), and my dad's friend said she is the same onscreen as she is offscreen and vice versa....
I am currently learning American Sign Language so I really wanted to see Marlee dance. I was so proud to see how well she did, very impressed! I love her anyways, I have seen her in a few movies. She is just so sweet and has a great personality. It is awesome to see her and the deaf community have this opportunity. It shows they can do the same things that the hearing world can! I am rooting for her!!
