Happy Thanksgiving!!

I just wanted to take this time to wish everyone out there a beautiful and wonderful Thanksgiving!! I truly hope you have a great day surrounded by those you love most, family and friends. I hope you all get plenty to eat and enjoy the feast and time with everyone. Be safe and remember to count your blessings and know what you are thankful for. Take care and for those of you shopping, have fun getting through the crowds. I will be working first thing Friday morning from 545-230 and than do some shopping myself so I know I will be exhausted. Enjoy your day and the festivities ahead!!

be thankful for DAUGHTRY!

About your dog I know how it feels to lose a pet that is like a part of the family to you... But we all know he is in a much better place than any of us are! Shocked)

I am glad it got a little better at least though and you got to hopefully enjoy some of your Thanksgiving.....

HUGS, LOVE and GOD Bless!"

well my Thanksgiving started out on a rough note, as we had to put our dog to sleep yesterday morning Sad he was really sick Wednesday night and wouldn't eat so my brother took him to the vet's office. They said he had a tumor that was pushing on his internal organs and making eating difficult (we figured he had a tumor, but we thought we'd have at least another year with him before we had to put him down). The vet treated him and let us take him home, as we needed to decide what to do....do we put him down or do surgery (he was 12 years old)? in the end we decided it was best to put him down because surgery would only buy us a few more months anyway and it's not fair to the dog to prolong it. So anyway we were going to do it at the end of this weekend, but then Thanksgiving morning he looked worse than the last night and we decided we couldn't wait until the end of this weekend. I know we made the best decision, but we miss our Zeke.........

but anyway, the day ended up being better.....we ate Thanksgiving dinner with dad's side of the family. I made a cheesecake (call me weird, but i don't like pumpkin or apple pie much.....so i make a cheesecake and bring it to Thanksgiving dinner!!! that way i've got something i like there). I don't mean to brag (really i don't), but i can make a pretty mean cheesecake and my (paternal) grandma is kind of a "foodie" (meaning that baking is more or less her *thing*).....i was pretty pleased when my grandma told me my cheesecake was really good and i could come to her house and make it for her anytime!!

Just made 5 pies while listening to my Daughtry cd.
