The show was amazing! Definitely in the top 3 of the all the DAUGHTRY shows that I have seen. The Nokia Theatre is a nice place to see a show. It was my first time there. I have to say, the lighting and acoustics were very good. I loved hearing "All These Lives" for the first time in concert and a new song Chris wrote, "Back To Me," which should definitely be on the next album. It was also great to see Josh's fun side with him singing a regaee version of Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train." Chris also came out and sang with Day of Fire, which of course made the croud go wild. I met a lot of really nice people in line and standing near me during the show which really made the night a lot of fun. The band is simply amazing!

I was there in the front row and with my son. My son was so serious with studying everyones fingers on the guitars. I though he was not having a good time and it made me worry a little. but i finally asked him and he said "MOM I DO NOT HAVE TO SMILE TO HAVE A GREAT TIME< I LOVE THE SHOW" THank you to daughtry because you inspire my son that anything is possible. he simply loves music. I love the show too. very time I hear you sing it moves me .

I'm so glad I finally got to have the full Daughtry experience. What an amazing show. They are all such rock stars, and I mean that in the most positive way. They were all so energetic, and you could tell that they're just having the time of their lives up there. It's so cool that they're still so excited even though they've been touring straight for over a year. It was so great when Josh Steely started singing that reggae-like song in the beginning of the encore. Does anyone know what song he was singing? I had video of it, but silly me accidentally deleted it. Then at the end of the show I got soaked when Chris threw his water bottle out into the audience. I had to hang around the theater for a bit so I could dry off before going out to the freezing cold weather. My Live Daughtry Experiences: Good Morning America 6/1/07; The Early Show 9/12/07; Nokia Theater 12/4/07

Once again the guys put on an amazing show!! Wiggled my up to 3rd row!! A total suprise when Chris came out with the first opening band and sang a song with them! The show was soo good. I like that they changed up the perfomance a bit! Loved the new song that chirs sang and cant wait for a new CD to come out! I Didnt get to see the guys after the show this time but dont worry Syracuse is only 5 days away so hopefully then! haha But all and all an AMAZING show!! Cant wait for the next!!

I, Jill and Patti braved the FREEZING cold weather for several hours to wait online in hopes of getting to the front row.....which we did! The anticipation was killing me throughout the opening acts (which were good, but I just couldn't WAIT to see my boy CHRIS)!! And Chris came out by surprise and sang a duet with the first band (a song he and Brian co-wrote with the opening act)...and I thought I was going to die! Seeing him so close was unbelievable! I mean I was up front also at Irving Plaza and also at GMA, but that was MONTHS ago! Having this experience in my hometown of NYC just felt surreal (again)...Being so close was absolutely mesmorizing and beautiful! CHRIS looked SUPER HOT and he and the band ROCKED OUT hard! The show was JUST FREAKIN' AWESOME! Thank you DAUGHTRY for my 7th AMAZING Daughtry experience, which NEVER disappoints! Braving the freezing cold was well worth the up close, rockin' time we had!! I cannot say enough how much I just love and adore CHRIS! I cannot WAIT til the next CD comes out! Oh yeah, he sang a new song, too, (a ballad), called "Back to Me" which was beautiful and romantic...ahhh....what can I say? I expect nothing less from him! I am so jealous of all the fans that are going to the Nokia Theatre tonight, as I write this the doors are opening (7pm); they are in for the time of their lives!! Woo-hoo DAUGHTRY! Thanks guys, for continuing to add so much fun, excitement, joy and awesome music to my life!

I didn't attend the concert last night, but I saw Midway State open for Daughtry at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. Don't miss these guys. They were great. After the show, I bought their 4 song CD and had all 5 band members sign it. It is heard to find time to listen to it though with Daughtry playing all the time.

I need more details! What opening band went first and how was day of fire?

To anyone who went last night, did they allow cameras in or did they check for them? I have a camera that some might consider professional (even though it is not) but I don't want them to refuse me entry with it?

OMG!!! JUST GOT HOME FROM THE BEST CONCERT IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. DAUGHTRY ROCKS AND MY FIRST CONCERT WAS AWESOME CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE.

Well the concert starts in 1/2 hour and i only live 40 min away. I am home doing homework with my kids. can't leave them during the week oh well priorities. Love you guys can't wait to see all again. millions of hugs.

Just when I thought I couldn't love this band any more than I already do, I find out that part of the ticket price for both shows at the Nokia Theatre in NYC on 12/4/07 and 12/05/07 will be donated to an organization called Parents Of Autistic Children. I have a cousin who is autistic and when he was born, there really was not a lot of information available about autism. Thank you to the guys for supporting this cause which is so near and dear to my heart. I have tickets for both shows and am honored I will get to be there.

Here is the info:

Parents Of Autistic Children (POAC) a non profit organization from Hazlet, New Jersey who provides scientifically based training to parents, teachers, emergency care providers and loved ones of autistic children throughout the area, is happy to announce that a portion of the proceeds from the Daughtry Concert at the Nokia Theater in Times Square New York City on Tuesday December 4th and Wednesday December 5th are to benefit POAC.

Earlier in the year, triple-platinum recording group Daughtry and their management team at 19 Entertainment were contacted by Kevin Martin, lead singer of the multi-platinum rock band Candlebox to perform together in a concert to benefit Martin's favorite charity, POAC. Immediately Daughtry replied with a resounding yes.

Since that time the two groups were having a tricky time finding a schedule that would work out where they both could play together.

"I was really stoked when Kevin gave me the Call to play with him for his autism charity, since then we have been trying to find the time with both of our busy schedules," said band leader Chris Daughtry. "My band and I are thrilled to do whatever we can to help all of the kids suffering with autism and it is especially exciting to be able to do it during this Holiday Season," Chris added.

19 Entertainment has agreed to donate $2.50 from each ticket sold during the two day, sold out event at the Nokia Theater in New York's popular Times Square. The potential monies to be raised during the highly anticipated event could be in excess of $10,000.00. "My wife and family are such big fans of Daughtry and it touches my heart that they would be doing this for POAC," said Gary Weitzen, President of POAC. "Not only am I excited to receive the money that will be spent wisely to help so many families with a loved one with autism, but I also am thrilled to see the show! I am so thankful to Kevin Martin and Daughtry for making this possible," Mr. Weitzen continued.

Daughtry was seen on ABC Television last Sunday during the American Music Awards where the group performed an acoustic version of their hit song "Home". The band was able to walk away with a AMA hat trick last night as they walked away with three awards, Favorite Rock/Pop Album, Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist, and Favorite Breakthrough Artist. The group has also been nominated for two People's Choice Awards to be aired on CBS on January 8, 2008; nominations include: Favorite Group and Favorite Rock Song ("Home").

WELL, MY FIRST SHOW WAS IN PHILLY AND IT WAS GENERAL ADMISSION. IF YOU WANT TO GET UP FRONT YOU WILL HAVE TO BE THERE EARLY. WE STOOD IN LINE (IN THE COLD) FOR 7 HOURS. BUT HONEY IT IS DEF. WORTH IT!!!! AT LEAST FOR US IT WAS. WE GOT THERE ABOUT 7 HOURS BEFORE THE SHOW AND STILL WERE 15TH IN LINE. BUT THATS HOW WE MET SOME OF OUR DAUGHTRY FRIENDS. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!!!!!

Does anyone have experience going to a GA show at a venue this size - this place has about 2,000 seats. Will it be hours on line to get in? Not sure if I want to wait for hours outside in the freezing cold - NYC always seems so much colder than the suburbs! Of course, I guess one could always go late and not wait, but end up in the back.

I may give up my tickets since I am going to Toms River and as of now I am in Sec 117, just a few rows off the front corner of the stage for that show. Though I may trade up for floor tickets if any close ones are available - have only seen 13 row or so lately.
