Ah, i totally freaked out when i saw daughtry was actually comning to nJ. But then it said he was opening for bon jovi the 4th and 7th but i'm going to see him the 10th!! PLease open for him the 10th!!

Seems that the ticket prices have been set by the venue and not by the band. I have seen BJ before and have not paid those kinds of prices. I did manage to get tickets to one of the shows (fortunately) one of the one where Daughtry is the opening band, however I didnt pay $350 for them either....section 3, first section off the floor cheaper ticket price but at least I'm there!!!

I've noticed that the prices of tix for some of the other bands were also high too.
I wanted to get tix for my hubby for Aerosmith & they were $285.00. Genesis concert tix were also in the same range. It's crazy the prices that we're expected to pay for good seats.

Bon Jovi ticket prices are normaly much cheaper but the prices are due to it being an opening of a new arena for the Devils hockey league. I hate these prices too but was fortunate to get good seats through the BJ fc. I won't know exact seat location until the day of the show. Thse 2 shows with daughtry I am in the 1st 15 rows on the floor,thats all I know
does anyone know why the ticket prices are so high? is this a charity event or something? I've seen BJ many times over the years and have NEVER paid that much for tix... what gives?

I am in the BJ FC and have tickets in the 1st 15 rows for this show. I hope I am closer. Won't know my seat until th day of the show. I hope Daughtry plays all of the shows since I am going to all 10 BJ shows.

I can only hope they open on the 10th - That's what I have tickets to. I just went on ticketmaster and was able to get better seats. (I have 4 extra tickets to sell now...) SO if they do announce Daughtry as opening for Bon Jovi... WOW!!

Have tickets for the 28th & the 10th....I was crushed when I saw the dates he was opening weren't mine....& I think the chances of Daughtry playing more dates with BJ are slim. According to Jon, the plan is to have various opening acts do 2 nights each...and the others mentioned were "country" artists...ugh....but I'm keeping my fingers crossed & watching to see if good seats pop up for either of Daughtry's nights.
Of all the nice places to perform in New Jersey, would they choose Newark? Murderville, USA! OK, the Performing Arts Center is a nice place (I've been there a couple times) but Newark? Of course I'm going to try like heck to get there to see them, but why oh why couldn't you choose Continental Airlines Arena or Giants Stadium or even PNC???
I can't believe that Daughtry is opening up for Bon Jovi now! I have seen Bon Jovi about 6 times and they put on an awesome show! I just saw Daughtry and Nickelback at Hershey last month and that was a great show! I am disappointed about the dates, however, since I am going to the Prudential Center on Oct. 26th! It's about time that Daughtry came to N.J., but, can you please add some more dates? How about the dates in October that Bon Jovi is at the Prudential Center? I don't think that 2 nights is enough! WE need more of Daughtry in N.J.
