I was able to see you guys when I was in Colorado and it was one of the best I have been to in along time. If you haven't seen them go they put on a great show.

Ok you will have to excuse me for sounding like a star crazed teenager!!!

I just copied and pasted this from another website I post at. I realize you all know who performed and such.

We had front row tickets, just to the left of center stage. We asked the security guy if we could move up when it started and he said only straight ahead from where are seats were. Ya right, as soon as Daughtry started everyone moved up and over. We ended up even closer and since we were already in the front no one could get ahead of us. Chris came out with is megaphone and sang Crashed. After he sang he was talking and I screamed and he pointed at me and nodded his head. *swoooooon* He came over to our side of the stage and everyone had their hands out, myself included. He grabbed the girls hand next to me. But the next time he came around he grabbed her hand again and then mine!!!! Highlight of my night!!!! He came around 2 more times and I touched him both times and my buddy got her hand in for one time. He was hamming it up everytime he came to our side of the stage, making funny faces and such. Brian was right in front of us for the whole thing and was singing as he was playing and I totally ended up locking eyes with him and singing along! *swoon again* It was so everything I hoped it would be and more. One of my favorite memories ever!!!

They put on a great show. Chris seems to have lots of character, he cracked us up a couple of times. He started singing Motley Crue's Home Sweet Home and then said "you know the rest" and they started their Home song. Some girl from last years American Idol sang at first, then Day of Fire came out. They are kinda harder rock. Chris came out and sang one song with them. I have a pic of that I still need to download off of my phone. My little phone didn't do all bad really. I got some good pics. I got one when Chris was right in front of us. It's there everytime I open my phone! I have never posted on here, but I will try to get my pictures uploaded and on here. We had such a great time, highlight of my summer!!

Great review Monique! I only wish I'd have gotten there early enough to see you and 'raine doing DAUGHTRY SAYS! Eye-wink

i posted some of my pictures from the concert on here and CLICK HERE to see the rest on photobucket

i agree about all of the positive comments regarding the guys not coming out to "socialize" after "work" - the show didn't disappoint and even without anything "extra" it was a fantastic night that i will never forget and look forward to repeating!
(i do notice that the lone negativity spouter has not returned & hopefully regrets the harshness of their words)

With that being said...I will only state this and move on!. I'm DISGUSTED at the fact that on here and even while standing near the buses that I heard people get angry about the fact that the guys didn't come out and greet the fans. How dare anyone think they are entitled to meet any of them. Statements of.."We made you famous, you SHOULD meet us" is the most AGGRIVATING thing I've heard. What makes you so special?? NOT A DAMNED THING!
Before I keep going on and on about the stupidity of people...lol
Here's MY review.
Those of you who now know me...and are part of the CODO family got to see me in rare form the day of the concert!
The radio station was giving away one last set of M&G's and held a contest for it.
I was bound and determined to at least enter and see what we had to do to get the 'Golden Ticket'. So as it happens, we are told (maybe about 20-30 people) that we will be playing 'DAUGHTRY SAYS'. I am thinking to myself..I'm so not good at this. I am sick with some odd head cold and whacked out on sinus meds and I'm going to mess this up, is all I kept thinking. So we commence with the contest, making complete idiots out of ourselves.
Clucking like chickens, patting our heads rubbing our tummys and hopping on one leg, singing "It's Not Over" among other silly things. It's finally down to 2 people. ME and my fellow CODO 'Raine. All I keep thinking is..I'm not giving up and I know she's thinking the same thing. So as time passes and the DJ's are frustrated that they can't shake either of us. It comes down to a trivia contest. We answer questions one at a time, never being shaken and never stumping either of us. Until the dreaded question that comes to me. The ONE thing I didn't know about Chris and have never read ANYWHERE was..."If Chris wasn't in a band, what would his dream job be?" WHAT? I DON'T KNOW THIS?? HOW CAN THAT BE??? So I have no answer, 'Raine doesn't know either...so we continue on. The next question goes to 'Raine and she win's the M&G's. I'm happy for her and in true Daughtry fan style (cuz we are KIND to eachother) she tries to take me with her. But the radio station only has a pair of the passes. 'Raine brought her daughter and so it was right that she took Zoe. I love the fact that 'Raine was willing to take me and will never forget the sweet gesture.

On to the concert we go...I'm so excited, the seats are good, but I'm still spoiled from when they first were here in Colorado Springs. Me up front, just mere feet from the guys. I can honestly say, that the fair was so amazing, all the stage production compared to the show at the Black Sheep. I was torn as to which I liked better. But let's be serious, I liked being up close and personal.
Opening with my absolute favorite song.."Crashed", sent me into orbit as if I wasn't nearly there anyhow just by being in the presence of such an amazing band.
The song Joey and Chris did, Soundgarden's "Fell On Black Day's". OMG, every single hair on my body stood up, I got chills and almost started to cry. AMAZING JOB GUYS!
The rest of the concert was just that, AMAZING. I loved how Chris used the megaphone and loved seeing the interaction of the guys on stage. I'm sad that JP wasn't able to be there, but Jeff (I think that's what he said his name was) did justice.
The only unfortunate thing was, with all the security that was around, none of them did anything about people standing on chairs, standing in the isles or swarming around the edge of the stage where other's couldn't see. But of course..true to MY form, I complained and got it rectified as far as the stupid woman standing on her chair in front of me.

After the show, a couple of us tried going by the busses and there was such a crowd. But we ran into Brian and Jeff and got a picture with Brian and I wanted one with Jeff but he darted off somewhere. Brian is so sweet and such an easy guy to be around. After standing by the bus for a half hour, we decide we should go. The guys are tired, and needed to rest up for the long drive and show the next day in Ilinois so we figured they weren't going to come out. Plus...the fact that the busses were starting to back out was our first clue..lol To be honest, I've met Chris before and he is so genuine and so incredibly kind hearted, I was ok with not meeting him again. I really wanted to meet Joey and Josh, but it wasn't in the cards that night so it was time to go home.
As we start to leave, 'Raine stops and say's she has something for me. She pulls out an 8x10 promo shot she was given during her Meet & Greet that is signed by all of the guys (minus JP of course) and hands it to me. She got two, and thought enough about me to give me the second one. I LOVE IT! (thanks again girl)

I had such a great time that night and I'm so glad that I met my fellow CODO'S and got to meet Bernadette who drove up from NM. This forum has allowed me to make friends I wouldn't otherwise meet. I'm grateful for this site and everything Karen and Sara do and all the other's that help keep this page up and running.
Take care everyone! and Keep Rockin' it..DAUGHTRY STYLE
~M

by the way..stop by the thread I created for us here in COLORADO...it's friendly..and fun and we try to keep eachother updated on new Daughtry things.

Once again -- an excellent show! You never disappoint. Of course, I missed JP again, but hopefully he will be at the shows in Springfield, MA and Boston, MA later this month. Love the new backdrop -- that was an addition from the last few shows I've been fortunate to see. And I also loved the Motley Crew "Home Sweet Home" introduction to "Home." I traveled thousands of miles to see the show in Pueblo and did hang out near the buses too, but in no way am I upset that you were unable to come talk to your fans. I understand that your travel schedule does not always permit you time to chat with us. Also I believe I saw Chris' wife on the side of the stage and I'm sure he wants to spend as much time with his family as possible since you have been touring since February. I think it is very cool you have the family bus now. I'm sorry that other fans had unrealistic expectations and seem to have made promises of meeting you to their kids. The only thing they should have expected was a great show, which you certainly delivered. I look forward to seeing all of you in MA in a couple of weeks for a couple of more "DAUGHTRY days." Keep up the fantastic work and thanx for always giving us your all. God Bless!

Supporting DAUGHTRY because genuine talent should be celebrated and appreciated.

to read all of the great reviews and opinions! watching the concert from vegas online last night, it made it even more real - the realization of how AMAZING these guys are live ... chris as a singer and performer and the band as a whole.

can't wait to get another chance to see them!! (and all my new CODO friends!)

I remember sitting downstairs and turnin on the television and forcing my boyfriend to watch American Idol with me, then there was this sweet sensitive guy wearing a cowboy hat and some stratigically groomed facial hair that they were doing a spot on and then when he sang my heart melted! I knew from that minute on that I was all for this Mr. Chris Daughtry to think that he is gorgeous, loves his wife and family and can sing like no one I have heard before makes for one heck of a person. I was so upset when he was voted off 4th, but I did not worry because I knew he would make a career for himself and boy did he ever!! The minute I saw a concert somewhat close to home I jumped on it and told work I was going to a wedding so I could get two days off!!!

My boyfriend and I were so overly impressed with this concert, made the whole 2 day quick trip and made up for the hotel from H**L. We drove in from Nebraska and no idea what was in store for us... everyone that my boyfriend works with were telling him how lame it was going to be and how he would be surrounded by screaming 14 year old girls when instead we were the ones screaming along with the hugely diverse crowd and having the time of our lives. I was so impressed with the way that he sounds live, most times you go to a concert the artist sounds good, but they do not sound the same as they do on their CD, Chris on the otherhand is just absolutely amazing and sounds exactly the same and of course it is even better because it is live!! We were very pleased with the care that the Staff handle the event and didn't let anyone get out of hand. We found that we loved the opening act Day of Fire also and I am not sure what the name is of the girl who opened Sarah somethin, but we didn't hate her performance but she wasnt too exciting without a band. If we had to do all over again we would do it in a heartbeat!

We will be patiently waiting for the next one and staying true to DAUGHTRY! AMAZING! AMAZING!

I paid $300 to fly into Colorado so I could go see Daughtry with my girlfriends (not to mention I had just seen him the week before in Vegas)! We love Chris, we love the band, we loved the show! We were his biggest fans on AI! Now we can't wait for his tour with Bon Jovi...we will fly to see them if they don't come to Vegas or Denver!! It's great to have a group to follow again! You have true fans in us! Thanks for a GREAT show!!

We drove up from NM to see it and we were NOT disappointed! The guys rocked the place and it was great to see them with a big stage production with the banner and screens! I loved the song that Chris and Joey did together, it sounded amazing!!

Day of Fire was really great too! Didn't care for the girl who opened at all.

I like how you said there won't be a crowd when he comes back to Pueblo. Because then I'll get to laugh in your face when the crowd is even bigger.

Some people understand that Chris is a busy guy. I'd rather him disappoint a few fans in CO than a whole crowd in Illinios just because he stopped to sign a few autographs. He's not superman. He can't do everything, and if you're gonna stop being a fan because of this, you need to go back to the sandbox or grow up.

This was the best concert I have ever been to. Daughtry rocks!!!!! I drove all the way from Denver to Pueblo just to see the band perform. I can't wait until they come to Denver!!!

Shame on you. What makes you think that you are so special. You are not setting a very good example for your daughter. DAUGHTRY has thousands if not milions of fans. How is he suppose to sign autographs for everybody? He is a very busy man now.So grow up and set a better example for your daughter.
Oh and by the way,DAUGHTRY was awesome last night.

Daughtry put on an awesome show and brought the house down! And how cool was the whole "take a picture on three" thing?

And to the person who didn't meet him... get over it. I got to the fair grounds at 1 and waited by the buses and never got to meet him. I have the worst sunburn ever, but it doesn't matter because at least I got to see him live.

Absolutely awesome. This was my girls first rock concert ever and I'm sure they will remember it forever. The band was amazing and they really rocked the house. CHRIS ROCKS our world!!!

I have been to many many concerts in my life, and Chris has the BEST vocals I have ever heard at a live show! The band also sounded awesome!!! I really look forward to the day that Daughtry plays at a venue like the Pepsi Center. I will be first in line for those tickets!!! Awesome show guys!!! I had a great time!!!!

The show was awesome...awesome...awesome...awesome...awesome...
I personally did not care for the opening act...but thats ok...
Day of Fire was GREAT!! I now have another band to listen too!!!
Daughtry just keeps getting better and better...way to go guys.

To the fan complaining about not meeting the guys...or I guess Chris... I have to say get over yourself...not to be rude but come on? If you went to anyother rock band would you expect it? These guys are busy, they are here to perform a show. Do you recall during the concert when Chris said " I'd love to talk to everyone of you...but thats impossible" (or something to that effect)? Just enjoy the show. Thats all you should expect and you should have told your daughter she most likely wouldn't have the chance to meet them instead of getting her hopes up. Sorry but I can't stand people bashing the boys.

Anyway...love you guys. The show was awesome...before last night I couldn't decide what my favorite song was...between "over you" and "crashed" after last night even though I love every song "Crashed" is definetly my favorite!!!

Brandee

One word- WOW! Daughtry is amazing in concert! So much energy, so much power, it was a rush just seeing Chris walk out on stage. I am a fan now if I wasn't before.

I am sad to hear that fans are upset that they didn't get to meet the band. From what I understand, Chris left almost immediately after the show to head straight to the airport.

I agree, we'd all like the chance to meet them - most everyone is gaga over Chris. We were lucky enough to win the meet and greet and even that was very fast. No pics were allowed. The tour manager controlled the entire thing - I hold nothing against the band. Even the lady who shaved her head to win M&G passes didn't get a picture with the guys. The band wasn't the one calling the shots though. Joey was an absolute doll and came out for a pic with my daughter. Josh Steely was a total sweetheart as well.

We were front row but once the crowd moved up, it was a bit difficult with my daughter who is in a wheelchair. They didn't allow her wheelchair up front so I ended up holding her balanced on my knee with my leg on a chair. Thank God the people around me understood and didn't push forward. Daughtry fans rock!!! Zoe got Josh's pick and Joey's drumstick. She also got Brian's pick by chance when we ran into him. The guys are incredibly sweet and I'm sure if they could meet every single fan, they would.

I think it was just amazing to hear my favorite songs live. I loved it.

The concert in Pueblo was awesome!! He rocked!! If I wasn't a die hard fan before, I am now!!! What a night!!

Boy, I am really angry with you.

I have been to 5 DAUGHTRY shows (plus 2 AI shows) and still have not met the guys. These guys are working extremely hard and are away from their families. They are on a tight schedule. If they can't spend time after the show to sign autographs, so be it!

I am sad for you that you act this way in front of your 14 yr. old.

My 17 yr. old son and I had an awesome time at the shows and it was great spending time with him. That's what counts.

I am a HUGE DAUGHTRY fan. When you say negative comments about DAUGHTRY - you are saying them to me. NOT GOOD:(

Peace,
Joanne

Proud to be a DAUGHTRY fan Smiling

Wow! What a show guys! You absolutely ROCKED the house down. I wasn't able to catch your show in February in CS, CO due to a death in the family, but I was sooooo thrilled when I heard you were paying us another visit in Pueblo. THANK YOU so much for making the time to ROCK for us again. This was my first DAUGHTRY live experience and I must say, you guys are unbelievably talented and so much fun to rock out with. The show was great and I am amazed at the level of energy you all have, especially with the tour schedule you have to keep this summer. All I can say is, I will definately be rockin' with you the next time you visit CO and so look forward to your next CD. Until then, keep on keepin' on and I am sooo happy for your success. You deserve it!!! God Bless!

Love Ya DAUGHTRY!!

Eye-wink COLO. DAUGHTRY GIRL Eye-wink

After reading a seriously uncalled for negative review--I just had to respond! As it's been posted on many threads and show reviews on this site, the band is not obligated to 'give' anyone anything other than a FANTASTIC show--which they do, day after day after day! To expect them to always come out and sign autographs and take pics is unbelievable to me--what other band/singer do you know that is ALWAYS expected to do such a thing? Let me answer that for you--NONE!! They do what they can for the fans and if you quantify it--it's unbelievable and awesome. Of course we'd all love a picture and autograph with them, but that is so unrealistic considering the millions of fans there are out there. I hope the few negative people out there who aren't "true" Daughtry fans don't ruin things for the rest of us. We get this site for free and all of its benefits and they give M&G's whenever possible and are personable. Just be grateful for that and revel in the awesomeness that is Daughtry! Love you guys!

If LOVING Daughtry is wrong, I don't EVER want to be right!!

What I was in for seeing Daughtry LIVE for the first time...OH MY GOSH!

The show was INCREDIBLE! Talented just doesn't even BEGIN to explain it.

I too, was one of the crowd waiting outside at the busses and lucky for me I was able to see Chris and who I'm almost sure was his wife, on the bus as they pulled out of the state fair. I waived, they waived back and it was awesome! The show's been out for about 3 hours now probably and I'm STILL flying.

Guys I am not the LEAST bit disappointed that you didn't come and greet the fans. You did your job (put on a show as another fan pointed out) BETTER than I could have EVER expected and I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing you again next time you are in the vicinity. If you ever want a guided tour of our beautiful state look me up! For real, I'd love to show you and your family around!

You can be bummed you didn't get an autograph or up close and personal photograph OR you can be thankful Chris came to CO at all. I personally and ETERNALLY grateful! Thanks boys for coming your show made my ummmm...day, month, year maybe even!

I am SURE you will ABSOLUTELY have a packed house next time you come to Pueblo (or anywhere else in CO for that matter) simply because you are INCREDIBLE entertainers. I've looked at ALL your tour dates through Dec 26th just to see if you're playing anywhere close enough for me to go, cuz it's worth seeing your show again.

I'd have really liked to have heard you do Sorry but maybe next time right!

Mrs. D---Thank you for sharing your husband with America! I for one appreciate the sacrifice and drama you must go through as Daughtry's wife. I took 2 kids cross country once on a bus...boy was that an adventure. I think it's awesome Chris gets to have what matters most close to him...you and your kids!

Keep rockin Chris D and the boys...I'll be a HUGE fan as long as you do!

yes i was!!

i can't wait to relive it when i go through my pictures! absolutely amazing show - nothing short of what i expected but even better than i imagined! so much energy. when you think of the schedule, it's even more amazing!

who am i kidding - i just got home and i'm still floating, with the music still ringing in my ears!

we waited by the buses too - but i'm not upset they didn't come out -- and it certainly doesn't change my opinion of chris or daughtry. i agree with the previous review about their touring schedule being so brutal - kansas to pueblo to illinois in three days (and it's been like that for MONTHS on end now) --- and on a bus!!
their "job" is to perform a concert on stage - that's what our ticket is for. nothing more, nothing less. if things turn out in such a way that some fans get a bonus (like meeting them by the bus after the show) then that's what it is - a BONUS! it certainly isn't a given and it certainly shouldn't be "expected" of them.

i'm a fan for the MUSIC - all the rest is just the "sugar on top" extras ... if someone can walk away so easily, it doesn't seem to me they were all that invested in it in the first place.

DAUGHTRY ROCKED THE FAIR and i'll be waiting in line for my ticket the very next chance i get!

I can only imagine how hard it must be traveling all over the country. *For the fans who feel betrayed because he didn't sign autographs, give the man a break. He's playing all over the country, and tomorrow Aug 30th he has to play in IL. How many of you would have the energy to play a rockin show and then turn around and drive to IL for tomorrow nights show. Look at his tour schedule, it's brutal. Relax people, he his human like the rest of us. I'm sure many of you went home and climbed into your nice comfy bed, in your own room and slept peacefully. Look back at the show and enjoy it. We all were lucky to have him come to Pueblo. He without sin cast the first stone. However, the show was frickin awesome! My wife and I have not been to concert in a few years, and we were blown away. I forgot what a rock concert felt like. The rush, the power of it all. Killer show man, I loved it!! Peace.

It was a great show however I no longer consider myself a Daughtry fan. After the show numerous people gathered waiting to get an autograph and were inconsiderately ignored. I waited 45 minutes with my 14 year old daughter who was just devastated that he did not come out. I understand not all artists can humor their fans with a little time but this was just not acceptable. I am considering sending the t-shirt I bought back to this artist. I will no longer listen to him on the radio. Fans never forget being snubbed by an artist Chris so don't plan on a crowd if you ever return to Pueblo CO. I am not the only upset former fan of yours.

I KNOW I DID MY ENTRY BUT IT JUST SO HAPPENS THAT THIS SHOW IS ON THE 2ND ANNIVERSARRY OF HURRICANNE KATRINA AND I REALLY WOULD LIKE TO CELEBRATE IN A GOOD WAY AND FORGET ABOUT THE DISASTER IT CAUSED ME FOR ONE NIGHT. TY
