Anything I should know about?

I have never been to a concert before, and was just wondering if there is anything I should know about...

Also I would really love the chance to meet Chris, is there anyway that can be done? I looked at the VIP thing but its not for my concert (Muskegon, MI).

Oh one last thing, how early should I show up? I would like to really be up as close as I can. Thanks if anyone can answer!

Hey! I'm going to that show too! =) If you want to be right up on stage get there early... but a lot of people get to shows around 4:30 and still have great seats.... We will probably be there early. I should of been up at the gate at VooDoo- but some rude people seemed to budge!

Most places say no camera... I think the MI show is outside? So I don't think its going to be a problem with a camera. At Voodoo everything just went to the crapper and I think security wasn't in the mood to mess with cameras. They knew everything else was going wrong, so I don't think they wanted to push it.

Have fun at the show!!

The concert I went to also said no cameras but when we walked in they just said no recording devices. I had a disposable in my hand as a decoy just in case they wouldn't let me in with it I was planning to just toss it while my real camera was shoved under my jacket. Some other people had bad batteries in their cameras, with fresh replacements hidden somewhere else, this way if anyone gave them a problem they would just throw the bad ones away in front of the staff and replace with new ones in the show.
I arrived 4 hours before doors open and ended up equivalent to 2nd row. But this was NYC.
If you can't get center stage try to stand closer to your left of the stage, Chris seems to sing more to his right side. This probably has something to do with the fact that there are four guys up front, not three where Chris would be center.
When your looking at the stage from left to right it's Josh, Chris (up front a little More), JP and Brian, with Joey in the back of course. Anyone feel free to correct me if I'm mistaken.
I mention this because it was important to me because I didn't get a lot of good shots because I was on other side and it's always nice to have some face time with the man.

Yes, shirts, hoodies, CDs. Click the "Shop" tab at the top of this page to see it all. Prices are the same here or there. Just save on shipping if you buy it at the concert.

One last, last thing do they sell Daughtry stuff at the concert? If so what do they have?

What Hollie says is true about cameras, BUT last night I went to the VooDoo Lounge in Kansas City and it didn't hold true. Many of us had called the venue and they said absolutely no cameras. It was also posted on the wall on the way into the club - "NO CAMERA OR VIDEO DEVICES". I took my camera in my pocket and no one checked for it. Once the concert started, all the cameras came out and we took pictures like crazy. The security guard was right in my area and didn't care. In fact, he ducked a few times to get out of my photo ops!! So, I say bring the camera and keep it hidden until you know it's safe!! Then, click away - the pictures are priceless!!!

I called the bar where the concert here was & asked them what time the doors opened, how soon I could stand outside in line & whether or not I could bring a camera. We were allowed to bring cameras, but no recording devices. I think each venue may be different though, as I have heard others say they weren't allowed to take cameras in. I would call the venue directly if possible. Hope this helps!! Have a blast at your first concert!

So if I show up around 3:00ish that would be good? I doubt my radio station will have a meet and greet... What are the odds they will add my city to the VIP thing? lol What about a camera? They always say no cameras, but yet tons of people always seem to have them. Thanks again!

I've been to 2 concerts and have watched and participated in this forum for many months. Seem's if you arrive 2-3 hours before the doors open, then you'll have a pretty primo spot up by the stage. Be prepared to be sardined and dress appropriately. It get's real tight and real hot up there.

Meeting Chris is becoming more and more difficult. Radio station meet and greets are often your best option. He will often come out after the concerts, but it's usually real late and his appearance is usually brief.

I encourage you to get to know all the Daughtry guys - they're a great group!!! Very personable and they all come out to chat and photo op with the fans!!!

Drift around the forums - you'll pick up lots of information about the concerts that way.

You can read my review of the Lincoln NE concert by clicking my log-in name and reading my blog on my page - that's a pretty good idea of how the concert flows!!
