"September" Comes Early For Daughtry
Daughtry has premiered its new video for "September" on the music network VEVO.
Directed by Chris Sims, the highly personal video features singer Chris Daughtry, bassist Josh Paul, drummer Robin Diaz, and guitarists Brian Craddock and Josh Steely playing live and looking back at their past.
The third single from the group's #1 platinum album Leave This Town, "September" continues to climb steadily on radio charts, approaching the Top 10. Chris Daughtry and Josh Steely co-wrote "September," a bittersweet ballad that draws on the singer's experiences growing up in a North Carolina town of 100 people.
"'September' reminds me of my life in Lasker," Daughtry explains. "I loved living there, it built my character, but knew I'd have leave to make something out of my life."
Daughtry also announced it will once again perform at Rockefeller Center, taking part in the Today Show's Toyota Concert Series for the second consecutive year. The band's live performance will be featured throughout the broadcast Friday, August 20.
Recently, Daughtry completed its hugely successful, first-ever headlining arena tour, which began last summer. The group will continue to perform select dates in the U.S this summer then make stops in Europe, South Africa and Asia this fall.

Love the video guys. Both September and Home are such special songs with a message that reaches so many people. I think both of these songs will always be two of my favorites. Loved the simple, yet sweet video with all the pictures. Gotta admit it made me choke up. Just so proud of how far you all have come in your careers. Loved the video just as I love the song. The theatre reminds me of my 1st Daughtry concert at the Meyer Theatre in Green Bay. A great acoustical concert in an beautiful intimate setting. Where did you film the video?

Love the song and love the video, you guys just keep getting better!!! I have done wore out my Absent Element cd and First Daughtry album then the deluxe album and starting to wear this one out lol. Hope you're working on or all ready have some new material ready. wow that video was something else and probably my favorite one yet. I love how it was so personable and full of passion, love and memories of the past. The pictures were beautiful and added so much spirit, life, and joy to the video and it truly made me smile big and feel all warm inside. Daughtry def has something to be proud of and I am in love with the final product. It simply is magical and captures the whole essence of the song!!

Just another chart topper my favorite so far. HUMBLE, REAL AND HEARTWARMING. I loved the feel of the old home movies. Kinda brought a tear to my eye knowing the reality that your family is expecting such an amazing miraclous addition soon. You guys NEVER dissappoint - Daughtry just keeps getting better!

This is my favorite song on LTT...and now the same goes for the video. There was no need to overpower the song with flashy images, and you didn't. The personal photos you all shared were the perfect touch... LOVE IT!
