I am sure you have given this a lot of thought and didn't come to this decision very easily so if it is your decision to leave then I can only say you will be greatly missed and I wish you all the best! It is selfish to ask you to reconsider or to make you feel like you are disappointing the fans.

You are a beautiful soul Mr. Barnes and although you made Daughtry~Daughtry I knew one day you would need to spread your wings and fly solo. I hope you find the happiness and musical success you deserve!

I have to say this does not come as a surprise to me at all. Not from what I have been reading all week. WIth that said it's been a great 3 years with Joey. Love ya and wish you the best. I know you wanted to do your own thing. But Change is Good. Even if some don't see it now. It will all work out. ANd Daughtry will go on. Just like Joey will go on. It's all good.

My heart just sank when I read this is this a sick joke! Daughtry will not be the same without Joey, come on this isn't even the least bit funny.

Joey I know you may not be like the other guys and may share a different point of view then others but that's what makes you so speacial and that's why we love you they way we do.

I can't even imagine Daughtry without you and I don't want to.
