Hi, my name is Janine (obviously! lol) My older sister Jennifer (who is a HUGE fan) and I are coming to see you at Mohegan Sun this coming Sunday. My sister found out just under 6 months ago, by chance, that she has breast cancer. Without any time to get past the shock she was given a double mastectomy. Not too long after, she found out that the breast cancer was just the tip of the iceberg and while it hadnt metastasized (yet) she had a RARE cancer gene floating around her body that could 'land' anywhere at anytime! Yet another blow, she was started immediately on intense aggressive chemotherapy. Since, she has lost ALL of her hair and has had many 'natural' reactions as well as several allergic reactions making her suffer a lot more. Anyway, she deserves so much and she has been so amazing and good spirited (FOR US!) throughout this entire ordeal which is FAR from over! Last month our mother, my sister's oldest daughter, my sister and myself went to Mohegan to celebrate our birthdays (my sister, my niece and myself) she wasn't feeling well, especially since she had spent her entire birthday itself in chemo, but she was a trooper and spent the time with us as it's rare that we are all together at the same time. While we were there, she saw the ad for your February 17th show and was elated (to say the least) but we knew the money for tickets and gas (she lives almost 2 hrs away from me and then we're both 2 hrs from the casino) etc would make it impossible to go. It upset me not to be able to make her just a little happier...last week I happened to check my email and see I had an offer for 2 complimentary tickets for your show, I called her and she was overwhelmed with excitment...it may seem tedious, but anything to make her feel that happy for even a second, is well worth it! Anyway, I was just wondering, if by some chance during your show you could just recognize that she's in the audience (maybe say hi over the mic or something?) I know it would mean the world to her! I hope you can do this for me...I NEED her to have the best experience and to be happy! I know she'd love that! PLEASE...thanks for your time, sorry to babble on, I just want her to be happy! Thanks again...
