Daughtry's Arena Tour Rolls On In 2010
Following the success of its nationally televised New Year's Eve performance in Times Square, Daughtry reveals plans for the second leg of its U.S. arena tour, which is scheduled to begin March 18 in Baltimore, Maryland and will continue into the summer.
For the upcoming shows, singer Chris Daughtry, bassist Josh Paul, drummer Joey Barnes, and guitarists Brian Craddock and Josh Steely will be joined by special guest Lifehouse and opening band Cavo.
Daughtry launched its first-ever arena tour last fall, making stops all over the American heartland before taking a break in late December. The group is currently on tour in the U.K. and Europe.
As the band prepares for another round of headlining U.S. arenas, Chris Daughtry says the excitement has not worn off. "Growing up, you dream about singing one of your songs in front of a packed house," he says. "I still get chills when we're playing and I hear the crowd singing louder than we are."
The tour announcement comes as Daughtry's latest single "Life After You," continues to perform well on the charts. The song is the second from the group's sophomore album 'Leave This Town,' which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last summer. The album's first single, "No Surprise," became the band's fourth #1 hit and the band's third single is scheduled to be released this spring.
Daughtry fans registered to receive the www.daughtryofficial.com email newsletter will have access to exclusive passwords with which to pre-order tickets for upcoming shows. Every effort will be made to ensure that Daughtry fans who pre-order tickets will receive the best seats in the house. Tickets go on sale January 22 and January 23 for the March 18 through April 24 shows. The remaining dates will go on sale either January 30 or February 6.

I would so love to get a password or code or whatever i need to pre-order my tickets. I come from Southeastern KY and the Expo Center is small and I was hoping since I was a member of the club that I would have access. Can someone tell me how to get access to those tickets?? I got my tickets for State College and Pittsburgh with the VIP experience for Pittsburgh, I wish they would have that in State College too!! I am so excited, I would travel the country with them if my job and family permitted!! LOL

Not too happy with the presale this time either! I was in there at 10:00 am on the dot, and first seat up were middle section, 18 rows back......finally got 8 rows back, but still! And the seating chart on Ticketmaster was still not as specific as it should have been. So I thought I had somewhat good seats, but the other ones in section 50 and 52 would have been even closer...........very disappointed, just like last time............
After signing up for the newsletter over a week ago, I never received the presale codes for this morning's round of ticket sales. Talk about disappointing! Hope someone can help, and hope there are still decent seats left!!!!!!!

Well, one out of two isn't too bad-not too good for Pgh. on the floor in second set of sections-Floor 6 row J...but I couldn't get anything close to come up at all and was on at ten...Fared a little bit better for Bryce and did that second getting first set of sections on floor S1 Row 18. Again, I will remind myself that I am getting to go twice in one year and finally getting the VIP for Pgh. so I need to be happy with what I did get.
I get to go with my son to Bryce and am hoping to convert him over to the DAUGHTRY side. I think this college atmosphere show will be convincing!

Does anyone know how long the catwalk is? Like how many rows it goes out from the stage? The seating chart for the Reno show makes it look like it's at least 6 maybe 7 rows out from the stage. The reason I'm asking is that I have two pairs of tix. One is second row but off to the side of the stage and the other pair is sixth row center. So I don't know which is better when you factor in the catwalk. Please message me if you know. Thanks! =)
