Hey...I got the email from your site, but when tickets went on sale for the 4-19 show at the VooDoo lounge, Ticketmaster said there wasn't any.........so heart-broken...maybe I'll get lucky and see you wondering in the casino afterwards......

Well, it sounds like I am not alone. I received the first email which stated that we would all be receiving subsequent messages which would tell us how we could purchase tickets to our concert of choice, but it's been two days now and I still haven't received those messages. I have been a member of the website since January 1st. I have no idea when it actually started, but I thought I had been there since the beginning, but I guess not. I checked my SPAM folder, and there aren't any messages in there either. Does anyone know why some people received the messages and others didn't?

I'm still a huge fan, of course, but I'm just curious as to why this stuff keeps happening. All the fans want to do is see Chris and the band, but it seems like this whole process has been flawed from the beginning.

I hope they get all this worked out so more true fans can go see their Idol!

First let me say that while I am sorry some people did not get the second and third emails, I I am sad to see the anger is some of the posts below. In my opinion Chris, his band, or anyone working for or with him had NO clue that tickets would sell like this, or they would have booked bigger venues. The way tickets are selling is a great indication of things to come as far as future tours and Chris's overall career. I know it sucks not getting tickets, but there WILL BE a next time. We have all waited this long to get tickets to see Chris since AI was over, It won't hurt to wait a few more months. There are flaws in every system, this ticket release program is a very new thing, how many other artists do you know that would even do this sort of thing? By law each venue that an artist plays at has to hold "x" amount of tickets aside for the band to use as they choose (family, friends...). Since most of the shows they offered tickets for were sold out already, that means the band had to give up a portion of those tickets to be sold back to us - the true fans! (of course, this is merely what I think happened, I am not sure of this at all) I love how they made it where the tickets had to be picked up at will call because it means the Ebay scalpers can't get their hands on them, another bonus of the program. I think this whole ticket program shows a genuine concern and care for the fans of Daughtry, and while yes there may have been flaws with the emails, the program does not deserve to be bashed with such anger.

And - all of you who did not get tickets still may not be out of luck. Alot of tickets are released for concerts the day of a show, or a few days before a show. I have scored AMAZING seats for several different artists a few days before, or the day of a show. (including an AI tour concert I bought awesome seats for the day of the show and it had been sold out for weeks) So keep checking back at Ticketmaster right before the show, even a FEW HOURS before a show. Or keep checking the venue to see if they have extra tickets for sale at the door and if so, show up EARLY to be first in line and get your tickets at the door. All of this may not be possible in all venues in all states, but they are all worth a try.

Thank you so... much for doing this. I was so.... bummed when I originally tried to get my tickets and they were sold out. While I was happy for your band and it's success, I was bummed for myself because I thought that I was going to have to pay $90-$125 a ticket just to see you guys in concert, which I would have done, because I LOVE you guys that much, but I hate to pay that much to line someone else's pocket who doesn't have to make the sacrafices that you guys make. If I knew that the money would be going to you guys I would pay it in a heartbeat, but it just kills me that people do this just to make easy quick money when you guys are the ones out their sacraficing time with your families, and busting your butt's to make GREAT music. On top of that, your die hard fans (such as myself) are left wishing they could have gotten tickets to see you guys. That was until you guys opened up this post sale for your exclusive die hard fans like me. Once again I thank you so........... much and I WILL BE SEEING YOU GUYS IN INDIANAPOLIS........HOME OF THE SUPERBOWL CHAMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay everyone sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the post sale was from 10am to 10pm yesterday 2/7/07. If you didn't get your emails they are probably not coming, and if they do that would really piss me off because the sale is over!

I was able to get 2 tickets to the sold out Little Rock show yesterday. It so made my day!!! I have several friends who are sad they are not members of your site.

Now I am working on those backstage passes! )

I have 2 tickets that i purchased from Stub hub before i knew about this code thing for ticket master. i now have 2 extra tickets for march 15, in pittsburgh for diesel club lounge. i paid 230 for them. i will be losing money because i have to fedex them out if anyone buys them, but i would just be looking for the 230 that i paid. i can send email confirmations of the tickets just so you know im not trying to steal money from any1. if you are interested please email me at alyssadenicker@yahoo.com

That is not how it worked for me.

I received an email at 4:38 on the 6th from Daughtyry site about the preferred ticket announcement. It basically told about the preferred ticket club and how two tickets would be reserved on a first come basis on the 7th 10am until 10 pm

it gave a website to go to that listed the venues

at the end it gave a one time access code THERE WAS NOTHING STATINGE I WOULD RECEIVE ANOTHER EMAIL OR EVEN TWO MORE EMAILS.

I received another email from Daughtry official site repeating the above and it then gave a code number. at 5:45.

I find it strange that people would receive an email stating to watch for more emails and others said these emails came from ticketmaster....

Mine came directly from Daughtyr Official and no statement was made that other emails would follow

Man i'm a little upset that i missed out on trying to get those tickets, with my son being sick i didn't get on the computer!! Then today when i tried to use that code it didn't work....*sigh* if anyone has an extra or two tickets for the austin texas stubbs I would buy them off of you for $60 for both. I just cannot say thank you enough for allowing the die-hard fans a chance to get ahold of tickets. It really says a lot about how much you care for your fans..... I can barely wait for the show!!

Fan from your first Idol appearance. Been waiting to buy tix at St. Charles Mo for two months. Received an email from your website about you were here from the start, we want you there for advance tix. What a waste of time voting for you two hours at a time on idol. I was online and on the phone when tix went on sale and I was told sold out.
I only wish I could return your CD, my wife will be highly disapointed when she arrives home from work

Tony7641... hey don't be so hard on Chris, I don't think it was all his fault. I also got the first email and I never received another one. I got left out too. I don't blame Chris for it. I do think it was very poorly handled and his concerts should be held in bigger venues giving more fans a chance to see him. Not sure whose doing that was but it was not a smart decision.

If anyone knows how I can get tickets to the blue cats show in knoxville, TN on march 25 please, please let me know....

I was so excited to hear Daughtry's song "Home" on Amercian Idol when the contestants are sent home. I hope that use it all season long. I love Daughtry & hope to see continued success for Chris & the band. Hope they come to Pittsburgh soon.

I didn't get my 2 emails that i was notified were comming. I do not understand this site. I tried to comment about this about 2 weeks ago but it kept asking me for a title and i saw no place to enter it. Now it's posted clearly but wasn't then. i wanted to desperately see Daughtry in Tampa on the 9th. I've been a fan since idol and use to vote for him as much as 400 times and could always get through from Estero, FL. I would vote for 2 hours straight. I've bought 30 some cd's and use to go to the stores and arrange them to make them more noticeable and keep on the clerks to order more when they got low or put more out. I've been nuts about Chris cause he's awesome and a great guy too. Hope I get to see him somewhere. Perhaps in west palm beach, fl. I play the cd constantly. Love it!
