All this ticket bullsh!t has pushed me over the edge! DAUGHTRY has one LESS fan today. Once again the REAL fans get screwed and the scalpers make all the money. I was on Ticketmaster at 5 seconds after noon and NO TIX left for NY, again. Same thing for PHILA last week. And no second email with the "preferred ticket club". I guess other fans are more worthy than me. Goodbye Chris! I will not pay $100/ticket to see you. You're not worth it!

I have an e-mail that says that I will get two more e-mail that will hopefully let me get to tickets to the show in Atlanta that is sold out. That sold out in less than a min. Come on! What is going on??? I have not received any other e-mails........ HELP!

I dont know what happened with ya'll today ..I am registered on this site & got both emails sent yesterday , got on this morning , followed the directions & got 2 tickets for 1 of the N.Y. shows.. I am siked of course , but I really feel for ya'll , as I would be double crushed had I again not been able to get tic's. BUT..... as I was reading posts on here , I read people bashing the band , and making rude comments about the band .. now c'mon ... to those of you writing your trash , if you didnt REALLY LOVE the band .. you wouldnt be so hostile.
as i said ..yes, i'd be po'd too if I didnt get them the 2nd time around.. but.. I wouldnt turn on " the band " its someones error , yes, but the "band" is touring ..not sitting around on computers selling tickets !! i'm sure after this whole dilema , they are fully aware next time around ( as Chris previously posted ) they WILL do bigger venues. p.s. i got 2 codes & did try to get another set of tics to offer up , but.. it didnt work sorry ya'll i did try though

I just wanted to say that the preferred ticket site rocks! THe Denver show sold out in two minutes and there was no way I could have gone. I was bumming until I received the email yesterday. I was able to log on and get two tickets to the show and can't wait! This totally made my day! I just want to say thank you to Chris and his people for letting this happen.....now if I can only get backstage that will make my year! Thank you again!

Well, looks like I am in the same boat as most other Daughtry fans. I was so excited when I got the email stating that we had a second chance at getting tickets to the sold out shows because we were there at the beginning. Unfortunately, I also did not get any other emails with a code for ticketmaster and I also don't understand why the tiny venues??? Not everyone sells a million records five weeks out of the gate, don't you think people would want to hear the band live as well. I have never had so much trouble getting tickets for a show. I still think Daughtry rocks, but I hope I don't have to wait too long to see a live show. The blogs and live sessions on the website are cool and all, but nothing beats the real thing.

I received 2 codes, in 3 different emails, as I state earlier however, neither one worked. I contacted Ticketmaster (because they are listed on Daughtry's website as the place to purchase tickets in my area with the post sale code) they said neither code was issued by them so they weren't any good.
I also contacted Music Today, that is who issued the other code. I received a response from them saying that they weren't doing tickets for my venue and that the code they issued would only work thru them not ticketmaster.

I am happy for all those who got tickets but think those people's whose codes didn't even work, deserve an answer.

Thanks also to the person that posted the password. It worked for the pittsburgh Pre-sale but by the time I got to it tickets were GONE...

I dont normally post on internet post sites, because mainly they are a "complain" fest, but it is annoying to see ass-kissing fans say "its not chris's fault" Well, it wasnt managed properly, so its not his fault directly no, but the Management has something to do with it. People can complain all they want, however its not going to change much..... so COMPLAIN AWAY!!!

I LOVE Daughtry and if you do have the code please e-mail me again it is so important to me to see Daughtry live. They are my favorite band. For all those people out there who are bashing Chris and the band they tried everything they could do to let everyone see them and they will come back on tour. If you are bashing the band and saying that they just lost a fan well you weren't a fan in the first place and there are plenty of us that are going to stick with them even if we dont get to go to the concert

I am so sorry for everyone that couldn't get tixs. Sometimes life blows, but it is not the bands fault! It was possible to get tixs, so they did help a lot of people today, not everyone can get their way, not how life works! But hey keep on supporting the band and they will do another tour! Maybe next time more tixs will be available. Keep your chins up!

Well, as to what I have seen in these blogs.......ok, don't blame Chris, but blame the staff that sent some of us that email!!!!! I have been a fan since the beginning, but did not "officially" sign up until about a month ago. How can you judge "real fans" by signing a stupid email? I have had him as a buddy since I got myspace months ago and I visit that page often.

I am just really disturbed at the fact that they then TEASED us with the ticket deal. Why send all of us that email then?????? That is VERY FRUSTRATING!!!! I should have NEVER gotten my hopes up in the first place because nobody is going to send me the code they SAID they were going to send!!!!!!!!!!

Still a huge fan, but VERY VERY VERY annoyed right now and frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish I would have never even received the email in the first place since nobody is going to act on this.

HMMMM......maybe they like to see us get all frustrated so they have some entertainment. Think of it, we get all bent out of shape when things are not available, like I am, and they probably read it and wonder what they can do next to see how we react.

Wow....I'm really sorry for all of you guys that didn't get the second and third emails with the codes! I was lucky enough to get thru right away for the Irving Plaza show this morning, and was able to get 2 tickets. I've read alot of comments, that sounds like people, that did get the code, were not trying till regular onsale time of noon (for Irving Plaza). The preferred ticket sale started at 10am even though regular onsale wasn't until noon. Not that it will make you feel any better, but I went right back in after my order went thru, and the tix were already gone...in literally 1 or 2 minutes. Like I said, I am truly sorry, I would be VERY upset too, but it wouldn't make me stop liking the band! It's not their fault, they didn't send the emails personally, so please don't take it out on them. Personally, I can't wait till they do the next leg, and play bigger venues, so it will be easier for EVERYONE to get tix!

Well its been more than 24 hours and still no second or third e-mails.....this was my only opportunity to get tickets and now it seems it is not happening! I am soo disappointed with the managment! Chris and his fans deserve better! Guess I am holding out for winning VIP tickets...but after this fiasco I am wondering if that contest is something that's actually happening!

Still love Chris and Daughtry, just very disappointed in the poor management!

Just wanted to come on here to trash this phantom post sale. Thanks Daughtryofficial.com for getting hopes up for a chance to get tickets, only to never get an email containing a password. I'm not trashing Daughtry themselves, as I know they have nothing to do with it.

Also to any of you dummies out there, paying hundreds of bucks for the tickets: you're a bunch of morons who feed into scalping.

To all you fans directing you anger and disappointment at Chris and Daughtry...ya'll are barkin' up the wrong tree! Below is a copy of the e-mail I just sent to RCA Records. The people who are really responsible for this "Preferred Ticket" mess! Don't take it out on Chris and his band!! Chris and Daughtry, still love you and hopefully this can all be straightened out!

To Whom It May Concern:

I know this e-mail likely falls on the deaf ears of a multi-billion dollar record company, but I feel the need to voice my disgust with RCA Records. Two days ago I recieved an e-mail from the DaughtryOfficial.com website stating that I would recieve two more e-mails with "codes" for ticket vendor websites giving me the opportunity to purchase tickets for sold out shows. This is a lie! I never recieved said e-mails and whats worse is that I am not alone! There seem to be a very large number of registered Daughtry Fans who were misled to believe they would be given a second chance to buy tickets to see Daughtry. RCA has been a houshold name for many years and I find it dispicable that a trusted name like RCA would purposely deceive loyal fans. Fans that support the music industry and have made RCA the success that it is. Like I said, I am sure that RCA doesn't care one iota about the disappoinment they have caused as I am sure it is not costing them a dime, but it seems to me that a company as well known as RCA ought to hold themselves to higher standards. RCA has shot itself in the foot and lost many consumers due to this incident alone, it makes me wonder, what other unsavory behaviors they participate in. Hopefully, somone, somwhere at RCA is still passionate enough about the music too see what a tragedy it is to disappoint and mislead ther loyal fan-base.
