I watched the pre show, all of the vma's and the post show, and don't know how the hell i missed daughtry! thank you cdsbiggestfan for posting those pics! i think however long they showed chris must have been the best part of the show, because the rest was horrible!

I believe I saw Deanna sitting with the Daughtry boys!!! I spotted where Chris was sitting and watched that spot the whole night and saw him and the guys quite a few times (not close up but whatever). I'm almost 85% sure I saw Deanna sitting next to Chris and at one point was whispering in his ear. She was dancing along and it looked like she was having a terrific time!!

Then when Beyonce went up to accept her award I saw Chris in the background stand up and applaud

The 2.5 secounds of Chris was the best part of the whole 2 hours. Hope you guys had a blast. Yall are winners with or without a Moonman and were absloutly the best dressed.

I missed the VMA's when it was on and from what I am getting, I didn't miss much, but does anyone know if the 20 sec that they showed DAUGHTRY can be viewed by clicking the link above and where to actually click without watching all of the clips? I did watch where Rhianna won for moster single of the year, but I am not sure if that's that part in the show where they showed them or not? I was just taking a stab in the dark since that is the award they were up for, but all they showed was her being announced as the winner, and her acceptance speech. Can someone please help me?

I have to agree with everyone. The VMA's was a waste of time. You guys looked AWESOME! It was great to see you guys, even if it was for 20 secs. You would think that MTV would have asked the HOTEST BAND around to perform...well what's MTV's loss is OUR GAIN. You guys ROCKED IT OUT at the Illinois State Fair and I can't wait unitl you come back to the area.

Wow...I guess I DIDN'T miss anything. I really thought the Daughtry "appearance" would actually be an appearance, not a cameo. The whole show pretty much sucked. I loved JT and Timbaland, they are always great, and Chris Brown's performance was really good. But hello???? The way they were performing in rooms, and all that weird stuff when showing the nominees was annoying. A performance by DAUGHTRY would have made the show worth watching!! And that WAS awesome that they showed Chris whistle when JT made one of his several comments about MTV needing to play more videos!! Loved it!!! lol....anyway....no matter....DAUGHTRY is the best group & has the best singles!! Who needs the stinkin moonman! Rock on guys!! MUAH!!!

I was really looking forward to seeing Daughtry. At least we got a little glimpse of Chris.

I usually look forward to the VMA but this year was an all around bust. Britney completely bombed (sure hope she' not considering that a comeback), show was confusing (all the different performances in the different suites), Daughtry not winning, hardly any camera time for Daughtry - I don't understand. MTV has lost this watcher! The only highlight was the 3 seconds they showed Chris (was that really what MTV considered an appearance by Daughtry??) 3 hours of my life I'll never get back!

Too funny.... maybe if Chris and Chad Kroeger were to get into a wrestling match.......... LOL (Hey, that might cause me to watch again)

MTV isn't about music anymore. They should call it Not Quite Reality TV. Although NQRTV doesn't have quite the ring to it. Then they should give out awards based on those shows. Since they don't even play music videos 95% of the time, I hereby denounce their status as Music Video Experts and no longer recognize those statues as having any bearing on the quality of an artist or the artist's videos. Hmmmmmmpf! The "Moonman" should be redesigned with it's head where the sun and moon don't shine.

that MTV chose to pretend there was a Daughtry appearance, then give them zero camera time....but I do have a suggestion for the guys for next year. You can probably win it ALL next year if you add a few things into your act!
half naked women, lots of cussin', as much anti social behavior as possible...maybe you could threaten to shoot someone after the show, or go provoke a fistfight with Chad Kroeger or something...maybe THEN you would be COOl enough for MTV! (rolling eyes here)

yeah so the vmas last night sucked major butt! that was the worst vma i have everrr watched. When they said "appreances by...DAUGHTRY," i expected to see more than a fricken glimpse!! ARE YOU SERIOUS!

As soon as I saw Britany Spears, then heard that awful "comedian" (if you could even call her that,) I knew the show was not worth my time.
