When the debut album launched, 1 Daughtry fan with a copious amount of help from her friends, came up with the idea of shipping care packages to service men and women overseas, containing a coy of the CD with a dedication of the song "Home" to the troops. She encouraged everyone to do this, and personally collected and shipped hundereds, if not thousands of such care packages.
With a broken heart, I must inform the Daughtry nation that the son of this woman, Capt Jesse Ozbat was killed by an IED last weekend while serving his country in Afghanistan. If anyone remembers remembers her from the AI Season 5 board, drop her a line. She's in a pretty tough way right now. The family could use your supprt, thoughts and prayers.
