Hey Chris Daughtry was a favorite of mine all the way through American Idol! I am a BIG rock-n-roll fan! And Chris's first album is GREAT!!!!!! I just hope that Chris brings it again with his next ablum the way he delivered on this one. Chris promised that when he released his first album it was going to be great. Well as a satisfied buyer of his album, I have to say that Chris really came through with his promise. Thanx for the hard work Chris!

OK, I was waiting to hear this album, because obviously Chris has talent, all the better that he didn't win American Idol too if you ask me. I knew the first album would be over-produced and popcorn, bubblegum for American lowbrow consumption, but it still gets the point across that this kid can sing. He actually reminds me a little bit of Lou Gramm in his heyday, only a bit edgier! There are still some shining moments in this album worth listening too. What I hear is a tamed version of Chris in my opinion. Like there is so much more to get out of this guy. I hope the next album pulls away from the "Idol" over-production, and goes more toward the real deal. Sure he was obligated to "idol" to do this album their way, but I say, pull away from the American Pop and do your own thing next time. Let it out! I'm eager to hear. So is everyone else who understands that American Idol is a ridiculous machine of pop, and you are more talented and more valuable than that! You are bigger than that, a true talented star in your own right! I await the "real" Chris Daughtry. Band looks great, sounds great talent-wise, everything is there, but you gotta can that American Idol producing!!! Paaalleaasseee!!! Now, I'm wondering how many more of these you might be obligated to do. I say do what Pink did. Ditch these Producers and go Independent. You'll be better served and so will we. You've arrived at least through the machine of American Idol, but now dump the pop bulls*** and be yourself. I am happy that they found the talent. I just feel like it's being over-managed and over packaged. Even so, you can see the goodness withing. Just overproduced! Rock ON anyway!!

I am 38 years old and have purchased thousands of cd's in my life. The words "This is the best cd I have ever owned" has never come out of my mouth until I purchased this cd. Chris, YOU ROCK! I supported you on Idol (which by the way, you were too good for) and I will support you from here on out! Live your dream and keep rocking from your heart!

I like all of the songs but my most favorite is what about now, I love that song. Some of my other favorites are over you, and home, especially the song Home.

From the first what I saw was a very talented man who was not going to compromise to fit the Idol mould; a young, yet very dedicated family man - a rarity in this day and age. Your cd is just plain awesome. I was most impressed with the fact that you wrote or co-wrote most all of these songs. You are truly a very, very talented artist...I am looking forward to your next cd. By the way, my son looks just like you. I am 13. My mom and me started watching American Idol when we heard you sing! You are amazing beyond words!! My mom and me love you. As soon as me and her heard "it's not over" we about died! Of course it was just 1 song but then my mom got me your cd for Christmas and I haven't stopped listening to it! Sadly I know almost all the words! They are good live. That band will do well. I just hope they will do a little more hard rock-ish music, like their "There and Back Again" song.

I saw you on Fox for New Year's and you guys were fantastic!! I knew you deserved to be the AI, but maybe it is better this way. I idolize how you have always stayed true to yourself. We rocked with you all the way through AI and will continue to rock with you throughout your career.
