Daughtry Kicks Off Super Bowl at Super Tailgate

After finishing its successful European tour Monday, Daughtry announces it will perform this Sunday at the NFL's Super Tailgate Party outside Sun Life Stadium before the kick off of Super Bowl XLIV.

Singer Chris Daughtry, bassist Josh Paul, drummer Joey Barnes, and guitarists Brian Craddock and Josh Steely plan to perform a 45 minute set of music including the band’s current hit single "Life After You" and material from their second #1 album Leave This Town.

Daughtry's performance will be broadcast on CBS during the network's extensive pregame coverage and is expected to air approximately 3:45pm Eastern. The multi-platinum quintet joins a star-studded lineup that includes Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Winwood.

"It's been a crazy week," says Chris Daughtry. "Last week we were playing in Germany and now we're in Miami for the Super Bowl. I can't think of a better way to get ready for the game than playing to fans who are pumped up for the big game."

Next month, Daughtry will begin the second leg of its U.S. arena tour with its March 18 show at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore. The tour is currently scheduled to end June 20 in Trenton, NJ at the Sun National Bank Center.

Daughtry fans can locate tour and ticket information on www.daughtryofficial.com.
