DAUGHTRY ANNOUNCES FIRST LEG OF ITS “BREAK THE SPELL 2012 TOUR”

January 16, 2012 — Los Angeles, CA — DAUGHTRY has announced the first leg of its upcoming tour in support of the multi-platinum selling rock band’s third album, Break The Spell (19 Recordings/RCA Records). Tickets go on sale over the next two weeks beginning Friday January 20th.
Daughtry’s “Break The Spell Tour” will begin its first leg on March 20 in Buffalo, NY and continue through April 30 when it concludes in New York, NY. Singer Chris Daughtry, guitarists Josh Steely and Brian Craddock, bassist Josh Paul and drummer Robin Diaz are excited to bring their bigger than life show into theaters across the country to provide an intimate experience for fans.
Daughtry is pleased to welcome special guest Nashville-based pop rock group SafetySuit whose new album These Times. debuted No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Opening the show is singer-songwriter Mike Sanchez.
Daughtry is also dedicated to using its position to raise awareness about a number of charitable causes. For the "Break The Spell 2012 Tour," the band will help combat Africa's battle against malaria by donating $1 from every ticket sold to Malaria No More, a leading humanitarian organization determined to end malaria deaths in Africa by 2015.
The upcoming first leg of the tour will give fans a chance to experience a number of new tracks from Break The Spell, like the chart-climbing hits “Crawling Back To You” and “Renegade.” Singer Chris Daughtry says: “We recorded a hard-hitting rock album that is primed to blow the doors off these great theaters. Fans who come out are going to get an incredible show every night.”

The only thing that makes sense is to why Foxwoods is not showing up is because Nickelback is going to be in Hartford CT on the same day.
Please if this is the reason, please do everything you can to reschedule for a different night!!!!
When the announcement was first up, there were shows @ Mohegan Sun in CT and the Palace Theater in Albany, NY - now they're gone - what's the deal??!!
I am so sad that I have missed the last 2 years of Daughtry. I really miss the excitement and all the familiar faces. I fell down a flight of stairs in January of 2010. Had back surgery and lost my job, my car, my life. I became homeless for awhile because I have no family. I lost everything. But, recently I found a room to rent and got a job. My life will never be the same. I really hold on to the memories of everyone I met. Especially Robin Taylor. I miss her. I feel fortunate to have had those roadtrips and meeting the guys almost everytime we went to a show. I Love those memories. Daughtry, Ya'll will always be #1 with me. You're the Best!
