We have all seen Chris sing HOME many times, but NEVER like the way he did for this PBS Memorial Day Special..this song has always been our family anthem because we are a Soldier of the Law family. I was able to meet Chris at a VIP and told him straight to his face what this song means to me..all I really ever want is for my son to make it HOME after each of his shifts..
With tearful appreciation, HOME is a soldier's song and I thank DAUGHTRY for such a moving tribute and sharing it will a grateful nation.
LOVED this performance, guys, and it was so fitting for the atmosphere. This song has definitely been my anthem from time to time, especially during college and when I was living in Europe. Thanks for helping to honor our nation's finest!
