LOS ANGELES – On Sept. 14, 2010, The GRAMMY Museum will welcome the multi-platinum selling, GRAMMY nominated rock group Daughtry and special guest, producer Howard Benson, for an onstage interview and performance, it was announced today.
With four #1 singles, two multi- platinum albums and an ever-growing list of accolades, singer Chris Daughtry says that “the best part is that we’re just getting started.” In 2006, Daughtry released their self-titled first album. The album wound up at #1 and has gone five-times platinum, with three #1 singles (“Home,” “It’s Not Over,” “Feels Like Tonight”). Three years later, collaborating for the first time with his bandmates, Daughtry released its sophomore album Leave This Town (19/RCA). Once again, the band experienced immediate success with a second #1 album. Daughtry recorded Leave This Town with producer Howard Benson (All-American Rejects, My Chemical Romance), who also produced Daughtry’s GRAMMY nominated debut, which was the biggest selling rock release two years in a row and the fastest selling rock debut in Soundscan history. The band recently completed its hugely successful, first ever headlining arena tour and will continue to perform select dates in the US before making stops in Europe, South Africa and Asia.

If you're in the NYC area tomorrow, Daughtry will be performing hits from their new album Leave This Town and all are welcome to attend. We are proud to announce a live performance by Daughtry on Thursday, August 19th, at 7 p.m., at JetBlue's state-of-the-art Terminal 5 (T5) in New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). Daughtry's concert will be part of JetBlue's second annual Live from T5 concert series, a unique live entertainment experience for customers on the ground.
