WALMART SHAREHOLDERS MEETING 2009
I remember Chris when he worked for Crown Ford in Greensboro, NC. I followed his journey through American Idol like everyone else....so when I found out he was going to perform at the 2009 Walmart Shareholders meeting (that i was going to attend) I was thouroughly excited.
Chris followed Foreigner on stage and the whole evening was a blast. I did get a bit discouraged because within the first 20min of Chris going on stage, a third of the stadium had dispersed....THEY DIDN'T EVEN GIVE THE MAN A CHANCE! I know it was there loss cause CHRIS YOU ROCKED THAT CONCERT!!! but cmon...it was a free concert and they didn't even give him the opportunity to show off his amazing talent!
Whether you are a fan of walmart or not....I am here to tell you that Chris did an amazing job that night. He has came a long way since American Idol and I am sure the best is yet to come!

Unfortunately, I do not have any videos of any of the concerts! Security was pretty strict on not allowing video cameras into the Bud Walton Arena. I am assuming that someone captured a dig cam video or cell phone video. If I find anything I will be sure to let you know.

You were so lucky to be able to attend that event and hear some of the new songs. I've seen You Tube videos of It's Not Over, Home and Feels Like Tonite. Did you happen to get any video of any of the new songs? How sad that so many people left. They definitely missed out on one of the best concerts they will ever see.

when it was released? Wasn't "Sorry" on that "special" release? I could be wrong, though.
Wonder how Chris was approached to perform at this event.
Maybe another "corporate America" company will be selling the "special edition" of the 2nd CD and Walmart won't be in the picture.
