i'm sick of kenny chesney - he bothers the heck out of me. keith urban should have won entertainer of the year - that man knows how to put on a show!
i'm also kind of sick of carrie winning every year too. any of those other nominees could have taken that award (except maybe taylor swift - i'll agree her voice isn't quite there for vocalist of the year). ever since before he cheats blew up, i've kind of lost interest in her winning awards. i do like her music but, to me, it seems like she's expecting to win every award she's nominated for. last night was the first time since before he cheats mania that i actually felt she was somewhat shocked that she won. i liked her acceptance speech too. she won back a few points with me last night.
but what i was most excited about was jennifer nettles winning song of the year for stay. i love that song, and the music video just brings me to tears. who knew a woman singing into a camera with a black background could be so moving? i'm not the biggest sugarland fan, but i do love that song, and i like a few of their other songs. i was also happy they won the duo award.
overall, i thought the show was pretty poorly put together, and i didn't agree with most of the award winners. i'm done.

I'll have to watch again tonight. I recorded it on my DVR. I agree with Taylor Swift. I do like her as a person though. Any interview I've seen her in, she seems like she's a really sweet person. But her vocals do seem to be weak, especially in her lower register. Same thing with Pickler. Brad and Keith did awesome, but I LOVE Keith Urban. I saw him twice in concert and HE IS THE BEST!!!!!! I was touched by Carrie's performance. Miranda Lambert is also AWESOME!!!!!! Well I'm going to go and watch them again.

I liked the opening with Brad Paisly and Keith Urban. They are both amazing guitar players~two of the best in country. Kellie Pickler. hmmmmm. She's cute and perky but I am surprised that she gets to sing at all these big events. I like Miranda Lambert too especially her edgy side! I enjoyed Jason alden. I saw him in concert when he opened for Rascal Flatts. I can't wait to see the AMA commercial with Daughtry!! he is not listed as a performer.

she's awesome, I loved her performance. I really like Gunpowder and Lead, she's cool when she's rockin out. Very talented!
I thought everyone else sounded great with the exception of Swift. Did she have that dress on underneath the purple one?
What an awesome stage, and the special effects were amazing. It gets me so excited for the AMAs!!! I hope Daughtry performs!
