Sorry about September being broken up into 2 parts... My memory card ran out of space before the end of the song. Also forgive the "shakiness" on some parts... There were some rude people behind me that kept slamming into me while I was trying to film throughout nearly the whole show!
Hope you all enjoy!!!

Loved reading your reviews. Sorry you all had problems with your travel, but so glad you all had a fantastic time. So glad you got to hang out with the guys and Krystle got the birthday Tweet. I look forward to seeing any pics or video you have. Hope to see you all in the future at another show somewhere.

Let's just say I whole heartedly agree with the previous reviews. Mine was all in a "nutshell" because it was done ever so quickly...we just couldn't wait and had to post some what of a review. I will admit I was also a bit hesitant from seeing some previous videos but these guys DELIVERED. They have a little skip in their step now
Well rested and ready for action. Bring on July 14th...and bring on August tour dates! I'm ready for more.
I want a Daughtry birthday EVERY YEAR. Maybe not in Canada...actually, yeah I do! I made lots of friends there...Chris, if you're reading this thru the laughter of my new screen name...Tim from the front desk thought you were a CLASS ACT. But he may like JP more

Wish I could have been there!!!
Blue Puke in a cup! hahahaha. What the heck about hearing they were not that popular in Canada ? LMAO!! Their show in Vancouver sold out in a few minutes and I know they had no problem packing fans in wherever they went in Canada. Even when they were on Much Music in Toronto the studio was packed inside and out. Make no mistake . Canada Loves Daughtry!! Espeically MEEEEEE!! haha

I have now had time to reflect on the events of the week!! I will start out by saying that it was HE** getting there! Sad part is that I would do it again for the fun that was about to be had! Well the weather was NOT so nice the night b4 so I was a lil worried for Daughtry! Yes I wanted to see them on stage BUT I would NEVER want to risk their safety or the safety of the crew! Thank heaven that the rain stopped RIGHT B4 the guys were about to go on stage! So the show would continue
Standin there waiting for what seemed like FOREVER, even though it was only like 20 min. The lights dimmed and here walked our boys onto that stage, the crowd irrupted in cheers and clapping. They started the set with a new song, 'Every Time You Turn Around' AMAZING SONG!! I honestly was a lil worried because of the vids that I had seen on YouTube from the recent promo shows. BUT I was VERY HAPPY to hear that they were on POINT! They remained that way ALL NIGHT!
I loved seeing Steely just ROCK OUT, and know that he was totally enjoying every min of it! JP was ALL OVER the stage, like he always is but there was something a lil different in his strides. They were faster and "happier" than normal. BCrad was just amazing and had the most crowd interaction that I have seen in a long time ( its kinda hard to do in arenas) Joey was just back there doin his thang and looked GREAT in his sailor hat doin it!
Last but not least Chris was HAWT, I mean his facial expressions, his smile, OH and lets not forget his signature "moves" were even BETTER than before! He was truly having a good time doing these songs! There was a time that he even wrapped his leg around Steely when he did his "move". You all know what move I am talking about
They were all having a great time up there on that stage performing, even with the threat of the rain starting again and everything. Once they hit that stage it was all fun!!
I have to say that 'Ghost Of Me' is my FAVORITE song on the new album! Its alot of fun to rock out to! I LOVE ALL the new songs that they played but that is my fav!
I got really excited when Chris had said that he was sad about a song not making the album but he would still play it live because I was hoping it would be 'Back Again', to my saddness it was not BUT it was 'Long Way' which is another good song!!
The only bad thing that I can really say is that 'No Surprise' sounded a lil off, and that the MUD was horrible LOL It was great to meet the fellow US peeps that went out there even though we didnt get to hang durring the show due to the different "age" sides that the venue had. But I am sure that I will see them at another show down the road, Right girls?
All in all the trip was a blast! Thanks Chris for wishing @Krystle_Hill a happy bday! That totally made her night! Thanks to all the crew for doing everything within your power to make sure that the show went off without a hitch! You all ROCK!!!!
Jags & BluePukeInACup I had a GREAT week with you both and cant wait untill we can do it again sometime!!! Thanks for the memmories!!

First of all, I have to say that being able to attend the guys 1st official show back in action was most definitely worth everything I went through in order to make it there in time... Canceled flights, literally having to run to make the next flight in time (several times), more flight delays, lost luggage, and being harassed and interrogated by 5 customs officials for hours in Halifax due to my luggage not arriving there w/ me... Since all of my luggage stayed MIA for 2 days after the airline lost it, I was forced to go buy more clothes and etc. just so I'd have something clean to wear at the show... Ugh!!! Thanks A LOT Delta Airlines and Air Canada... NOT!!!
It was like a nightmare come true for me arriving in PEI, as well as the return trip home - (Took me nearly 2 days longer then it was supposed just to get back home!)
Despite all of the problems I had getting there, I'm very glad that I made the trip to PEI all the way from Florida to see the guys 1st show back on tour! OMG, how I've missed rockin' out w/ them all! *sigh* The seemingly never ending journey to PEI was totally worth all of the hassles and I must admit that as crazy as it sounds, I wouldn't have changed my mind about going even if I'd have known in advance how difficult it would be getting there and back again... (No pun intended, LOL!
) In the end, I'm just extremely grateful and happy right now to have actually made it there in time to see this show!
The guys were frikkin' AWESOME (just as I expected they would be) and OMG, it was such a wonderful feeling to finally be standing there at the front of the stage again and listening to them KILL IT on "You Don't Belong" and "Long Way" Plus Chris' cover of "Poker Face" blew everyone there completely away!!! Steely was much more animated on stage then I've ever seen him before and I was so happy to see that B-Crad finally has a mic to sing into now!
The only negative thing that I have to say about the show is that Chris' vocals sounded very strained on "No Surprise"
SETLIST:
1.) Every Time You Turn Around
2.) What I Want
3.) No Surprise
4.) It's Not Over
5.) Breakdown
6.) Poker Face
7.) Long Way
8.) Ghost of Me
9.) Life After You
10.) September
11.) Over You
12.) You Don't Belong
13.) Feels Like Tonight
14.) Home
15.) There And Back Again
The new tunes are TRULY AMAZING! My personal faves that they played from the new album are most definitely "September" (one of the most beautiful songs I've EVER heard!) and "Ghost of Me" (another GREAT new Daughtry song that the entire audience was rockin' out to!) Many of the locals that I met there who had never heard Daughtry's music before were even saying how very impressive they are in concert and they would definitely buy the new record and hoped to attend more shows before the new tour is over.
WELCOME BACK GUYS!!! Huge thanks to all of the band not only for the FANTASTIC SHOW, but also for making the overall experience in PEI another priceless memory for me! Thank God the "Daughtry drought" has finally ended! Can't wait to see all of you guys again next month in St. Pete and Orlando w/ my Florida girls - Woohoo!!!
I'll try to post some pics and vids that I got at the show for everyone just as soon as I've recovered from the worst case of jet lag I've ever experienced in my entire life, LOL!

OK, I drove 12 hours each way with Patty to go to this show and stood out in the pouring rain (wearing that ugly poncho) with the thunder and lightening looming overhead, but I must say, it was totally worth it! It was so good to see DAUGHTRY take the stage once again after 9 months off from touring. They were refreshed and pumped to be in front of a live audience again. What a treat to be there at the first show, and in the front row. It was awesome to hear all the new material from Leave This Town along with our favorites from the debut album. It was great to hear "Everytime You Turn Around" start the show. "September" was absolutely beautiful. "You Don't Belong" was tighter than ever. And I loved hearing "No Surprise", "Ghost of Me", and "Life After You". We were treated to Chris playing his acoustic version of "Poker Face" and really, is there anything this man cannot sing?! Ridiculously good! But the highlight of the show for me was when Chris sang "Long Way" and dedicated "Wicked Game" to Krystle and me for our birthdays (and anyone else celebrating theirs). It really was totally unexpected. Thanx so much for doing that for us Chris. That was proof that you do read your Twitter responses. I truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. You are so giving to your fans. Very, very cool of you. Thanx to Steely and JP for the hello smiles and jesters from the stage. You know I'm a die-hard and love you all! I do wish I could have seen more of Brian and Joey, but my view was obstructed by the speakers. Also thanx to a very special someone who gave me the set list after the show. What a wonderful momento of one of the best birthdays I've ever had. You are the sweetest. Thanx to Patty and Lu for celebrating with me. Love you girls! I also want to say it was great seeing Jags, Krystle, and Shar at the show and meeting Northernmist who introduced herself to us (Patty, Lu, and me) after the show. It is always great to meet up with other DO members at the show. I had so much fun, and it was a great way to celebrate my birthday weekend. Can't wait to see you in Foxboro!

Wouldn’t you know it? I was right. The sun DOES always shine for Daughtry!
Just before they took the stage, the rain stopped. We were wet, stinky, sweaty, and looking more like a pack of drowned, rabid rats than an audience, but sure enough, the show started without a drop. I’m convinced God loves them. And us for that matter! LOL
As soon as those first notes hit, my heart pounded in my chest. Joey came out first in a tank and a pair of “how-low-can-you-go” pants, a bandanna around his newly shorn head. Then came Brian, JP and Steely... The intensity grew, and so did the intensity of the crowd! Out walks our fave front man... White button down shirt, blue jeans... Humina.
I will leave most of the song details to the others. As you can imagine, I did the best I could to listen, enjoy, savour, and appreciate all that lay before me, but I was in the midst of the mosh pit, and was struggling to keep my feet under me. I missed whole parts of songs. At one point, there was this guy behind me, jumping up and down, all over me. I turned to him and said - I'll paraphrase for the easily offended - "Could you please back up a little bit so I don't feel quite so molested?" He did for a moment, but when he persisted, I maneuvered my elbow so it wasn't so easy for him. I couldn't headbang for fear of knocking out someone's tooth. When Chris asked us to jump, it was like one solid mass leaving the earth. It was both frightening and exhilarating.
My favorite moments - apart from the personal?
September. You are going to love this song. It's simply beautiful!
You Don't Belong. It felt like an old friend. I'm so glad it's on the record! I just felt they played it with such intensity that night, that I felt it in my soul.
I want you (She's so Heavy)... All I have to say is, "Hold onto your panties ladies!!!" WOW!
Long Way... Chris admitted that he was heartbroken it didn't make the record, but that didn't stop them from playing it live!
YES YES YES!!!!!
All I know is that I had moments where I didn't know where to look. They are each so wonderful in their own right, and I have so much love for each one, and I didn't want to miss a thing! They look so good! Sounded so tight. They made the other bands look like your typical teenaged garage band. Their comraderie is infectious! And don't get me started on the manlove! At one point Chris put his arm around JP and squeezed his boob! It was HILARIOUS!
They all looked sooooooo goooooood!
And I love Joey's drum kit, it's so pretty!
I think I'm going to start sounding manic now, because I'm getting a flood of short bursts of memories! I swear, these shows are the bacon bits in the salad of my life... I love them!
AAAH! THE DROUGHT IS OVER MY FRIENDS! IT'S TIME TO ROCK ONCE MORE!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!
--

I must say, I was a little worried about how the guys would sound after being off the road for so long...however, the break did them good. I was impressed! There were a couple technical difficulties but they were worked out. 'No Surprise' sounded a little off but other than that, it was fantastic! The crowd was also great! Chris did a great job of working the crowd...as a matter of fact, so did Steely. I was a little hesitant about the Canadian crowd (no offense to you Canadians out there at all) but we had heard that Daughtry wasn't very popular in Canada but it filled up in no time...the guy (and what I'm assuming was his girlfriend) beside me was VERY into it and singing along with all the words, which I thought was totally cool. Security was great and you don't get that many places, we actually made friends with them. When they found out we were from the states and have met the guys before, Jason asked us if we could get the Daughtry guys over to his restaurant...and if we did, he'd feed us all for free! LOL
Anyways- the new songs were GREAT. They exceeded my original opinion of them from the album preview...which that was impressive enough. I'm so glad that the guys are ALL on this record and I cant wait for its release. I can't tell you how badly I needed this trip and show after the year I've had. So many memories have been made that will last a lifetime and it gave me a chance to relax and just rock out with no worries.
The trip getting here was stressful enough...gate changes, cancellations, flight delays, getting on twenty different planes, layovers, customs, ugh! The show however definitely made up for it and made it a GREAT birthday weekend. The guys were so energetic even though they had some problems getting here as well. God Bless them for putting on such an amazing show and definitely delivering beyond expectations. Me being my selfish little self, I would of wished for a longer set.
The set list was:
Every Time You Turn Around
What I Want
No Surprise
It's Not Over
Breakdown
Poker Face
Long Way
Ghost of Me
Life After You
September
Over You
You Don't Belong
Feels Like Tonight
Home
There and Back Again
Poker Face...oh my Christopher. Who's Lady Gaga?
That was perfection...you only have 100,000+ views on Youtube...that was just awesome. Really. You're pure talent and you know it.
Again, I could go on for hours and hours but all in all this show was complete perfection. Thank you Daughtry for the memorable, amazing birthday experience. xoxo
