I have never enjoyed Riverfest as much as I did this year. Daughtry was amazing. Their energy made the show. I wanted so badly to meet the band but no such luck. I got there @ 6AM... I sat through HEAT (and got sunburnt)... sat through rain (which made me sticky)... and fought the crowd. BUT, it was all worth it. My friends and I were front row baby!!! Hell yeah!!!!

Chris was awesome! However I was very upset that I had a Meet/ Greet with him at 9:15 and they had changed it to 8:00 and did not bother to make an annoucement. When iI talked to the lady she said she tried to round up as many people as possible. Bottom line, they should have made an announcement. So, I was very upset being that I have watched Chris grow and had a wonderful opportunity to meet him and because of bad planning and choices made by the officials of Riverfest, I did not get to do that! BUT Chris is still an awesome singer and I am very proud of him for what he has became!

First let me say YOU GUY ROCK!!!!!!!

I would have never went to the "River Fest" if you were not there.

My hunband and I loved it. But we do not like Gadsden. No beer, that's crazy.

We love your music and how you carry your self. Please don't change.

The show Friday night was awsome! Luckily I didn't have to sit all the way on "the hill", but I was about 100 yards away and still got a great show. After hearing all the album songs live, they are all my favorites! I hope that Alabama made you feel at "Home" for a little while. I can't wait to see another show.

DAUGHTRY WAS AWESOME AT RIVERFEST. THE MUSIC AND LYRICS SOUNDED GREAT. THEY PLAYED ALL OF MY FAVORITES. I LOVED "SHINE"! I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT!! MY SON LOVED THE SHOW, AND USUALLY DOES NOT GO TO CONCERTS. I AM SUCH A FAN AND WISH THE BAND MUCH SUCCESS WHEREVER THEY PLAY. I WILL DEFINITELY GO SEE DAUGHTRY AGAIN!!

I drove from Nashville to see the show. They were awesome. I was ready to pick up a lawn chair and throw it at the next person who call him (chris) "the bald guy from last season's American Idol" I was very unhappy with the lawn chair situation. I am from Alabama so please don't think i'm making fun of it. I just do not sit down at rock shows. The lawn chair situation was horrible. I had to sit through a rap band (they were ok but I am a rocker chick) in an ant bed to see them! I will tell you it was all worth it! I do wish I was closer to the stage than I was. I was way behind the sound board. I was singing every song everyone around me was looking at me signing off key. It was great!!! I am a HUGE fan! I can not wait until I see them again! THANKS FOR THE GREAT SHOW GUYS! I will see you again soon!

Fantastic Show on Friday!!! Wish there was warning about bringing chairs though.....luckily one of the CVS vendors were selling them cheap!!! We ended up with seats right beside the sound crew.....i loved your personality on stage you seemed to fit in with Alabamians really well! by the way, Eddie Vedder should be vvverrryyy proud! My favorite Pearl Jam song and My favorite RockStar......it doesn't get any better than that! Great Job and Hope to see you again soon!

The show was AWESOME!! You guys rocked! I think you get better and better each time I see you! I just wish that it had been posted somewhere that you had to bring chairs to get a good spot!! I drove from Memphis and had no idea! But hearing you and seeing you from afar was worth it! Can't wait to see you tonight in Chattanooga!!

You guys gave an awesome show last night in Gadsden. It was great to see you again. Keep it up.

I believe more than anything for me was seeing the joy on my 7 year old little girls face on top of her Dad's shoulders waving a lit up cell phone screaming I love you Chris Daughtry and singing every word with you to the song "Home", she was very upset with me because she was unable to meet you although I tried to explain this to her so she wanted an autographed pictures and I told her I was not sure if that was possible either. We were in way in the back but a gentlemen next to us gave her a pair of bonoculars and when she was able to see you through those her face lit up with the biggest smile I have ever seen. Thank you so much for such a wonderful evening, you are a wonderful singer and entertainer.

Great show last night! Started with 'Crashed', though that was absolutely NOT the theme of the night. Soared was the theme.
We heard most of the CD, including my favorite, 'Breakdown'. Also threw in some Pearl Jam.
Great to hear a great song by someone who can actually sing (Eddie Veder can so NOT sing).
Ended by BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE with 'There And Back Again'

Incredible show guys!!

You guys did an awesome job tonight!!! I was not very happy when I got there and the place was already packed, I just knew I wasn't going to be able to see you perform. Well, my cousin called and asked where I was and when I found her she was like the 10th row from the stage and there was room for one more person.. :)~ !! I was so excited. Keep up the good work!
Love always,

VIP and Meet and great with Daughtry....what a night. No person cameras were allowed, the local Chamber rushed groups through to meet the guys. I feel lucky to be 1 of 50 out of sixty plus thousand that attended, we got to see and great him. Although I wish I could have gotten an autograph. The show was awsome guys...Thank you so much for visiting our little town.

My husband is taking me and my two children to see daughtry for our first time and my daughter about tore up the inside of the car! Not to mention my ears are still hurting..I just think it would be so cool if we could meet chris...My whole family loves his music!

I missed out on the Birmingham show. Tickets sold out in 45 minutes! I have missed every other opportunity to see Chris and the guys. Today, I drove 2 hours to get tickets, only to be told they were sold out at the location I was at. I didn't know the area so was unsure of driving to other places. The closest place was another 45 minutes away. (This is one way.) I would love to be a winner!

Daughtry's music connects people together that wouldn't normally meet. My new friends and I would love to share this night.

THE MUSIC LIVES

I loved Daughtry since he was AI. I think he is the true Idol. I want VIP access so I can seeit all!

I am a first grade teacher in Georgia. I am from Alabama and my family lives in the Gadsden area. My husband is in the Army and has spent some time in Kuwaitt. (We know what it is like to have to endure separation for work.) We have three childrern....but none together. They are from our previous marriage. We think your family story is heartwarming....it is not always easy to share your children with others....it is a challenge. You seem to be doing a GREAT job as a husband, father, and entertainer. We would love to meet you because you are our idol for that reason. We believed in you from the first moment we heard you sing! Congratulations on your sucess and good luck in your future!

You can get tickets at the Chamber of Commerce in Gadsden. The phone number is 256-543-3472. You can use your credit card there. Tickets are almost gone, so hurry! See y'all there! Gates open at 5 pm Friday, June 8th. It's first come, first serve, so be prepared to scramble for a good spot. Meet my mom, the anonymous fan who inspired your biography....."In the Hands of the Master.....Rock has been Resurrected"!!!!!

Hi, this is Ben my best friend Houston Osborne was in a real bad wreck and was banged up really bad. She has a scar on her face and wears a neckbrace. She really loves your music. She's been through alot here lately and it would really make her day if you chose her. She wants you to sign her neckbrace and if you dont choose her at least just call her name out on stage. It would really mean alot to her. Her myspace is: www.myspace.com/0mgitshugh

My son, Hayden, HUGE JP fan (has mohawk and all). Turns 10 June 4. Please make his wish come true!

I won't be able to attend the concert as much as I'd love to. My request doesn't pertain to me though, it pertains to my 2 brothers. I don't want any pity and Im not trying to write a sob story...I just want to tell you about my 2 HEROS who deserve to met one of their HEROS.
On October 28th, 2005, my brothers lost their #1 fan & HERO, our dad, to suicide. In the days, weeks, months, & years to come I would never know how much their love & strength would pull me from my most trying times. After my father's passing my oldest brother found out he was going to be a daddy. This is alot for most men to stomach, none-the-less an 18 year old high school senior who had just joined the US Army. For my second brother it was just as, if not more difficult, being that he had just moved home from living with my father. To make a long story short, their strength and zest for life pulled them & me through times when it would have been easier to lay down. When Mr. Daughtry debuted on American Idol I saw a spark light up in my brothers that I had never seen in a LONG time. His vocal talent and style of music enthralled 2 boys who could care less about a singing competition & they've followed him ever since. From Daughtry's 1st song "It's Not Over" & now "Home" each song reminds them of the strength my father had once instilled in them, and if nothing else I would like to thank you for giving me my "baby" brothers back!
If they don't win the VIP competition, that's fine...you will still find them in the audience cheering ya'll one...they'll be the 2 who's face light up so brightly when you sing that they'll be very hard to miss!!!
Congratulations on all your successes! Godspeed in your career!

Soon as the gates open that morning, I am running in to make sure I have a front row seat!!
