Geez, I'm sometimes so late in commenting on things here on DO. I try to read through as much as I can, but so little time. Anyway, just wanted to say quick that you could never be an opening act. I love Bon Jovi too, but you guys have stolen my heart for good. I was at Mohegan in the back, but cheered as loud as my voice could carry for you guys. Barely anyone around me was singing or cheering, so got some strange looks, but I never care. Thanks for giving us your all. Daughtry will be my favorite band forever more.

Sooo many words in my head to express what i felt last Friday when you performed in Jakarta. It was the best concert that i've ever seen. So emosional, coz i've been waiting to see the LIVE performance for more than a year.

Finally ...got the ticket and was standing in second row from the stage. YOU SAW ME AND SMILE!!!!!!! Feels like i was dreaming...LOL

Happy and Upset...thats what i felt last week...... Happy cause you were very close to me and it was AWESOME! Sooooooo upset and was about to cry coz i didnt have a chance to meet you personally ...eventough i was begging to one of your team to let me in (is it possible to meet you in backstage??)..I wanted to give a special present for you and OMG!!i've been waiting this for soooo long...but so sad didnt have a chance to give it to you and get a photo and if possible a kiss??? haha ( I wish you’re still single … LOL )

So when are you coming back to Jakarta since the schedule is so damn busy.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE comeback to Jakarta...

I hope i dont get any problem with my hearing cause since last week in hours i kept listening "OVER YOU" again and again using earphone. I keep looking your photo.. I put on my wallpaper, in my room and on my handphone. My bestfriend told me that im crazy and should get over you! Haha... Im going to Bali for 5 days and hopefully by the time i come back, my head is not all about you again...

I agree w/ katelliot: I bought the album Scars & Souvenirs mainly for "The Past" but after listening to the whole album, I REALLY like it! Similar sound to Nickelback; hope they take that as a compliment

And I can listen to Chris on "By The Way " all day!!!!!!!! Thanks Sevendust for showcasing his talent...

Could you do a show at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville NJ. It's probably a much smaller venue than you are used to but PLEASE! I love it there. Live just played there recently and Sayreville is Bon Jovi's old stomping grounds. So, what do you think? You would be making at least one person (me) the happiest person in the world. Think about it. It would be awesome.

I just want to say I am addicted to the song "The Past" that Chris did with Sevendust. That song is amazing from beginning to end. Of course my favorite parts are the parts that Chris sings. Chris, your voice is so amazing, I just love to listen to everything you sing. My favorite part of the song is your powerful voice in the background. I can just picture you singing your heart out and I love it.

For my birthday I got to go see Sevendust, at the Fuel Room in Libertyville, IL, on May 13th. Before the show I had to get the new album they just put out. I tell you when I heard "The Past" it was an instant favorite. Sevendust is on of my favorites from highschool, but you just blew me away on that song. I liked your first album but I am excited to hear some new stuff from you. Hey you should concider the Fuel Room as well its a small venue but it was so awesome I can't even describe it. Bravo to you, getting in with Sevendust, it is a great song.

On May 3, 2008, your biggest fan, Dawn Rickert, tragically passed away at the age of 34. From day one of American Idol, she would come into work and talk about how hot you were, what an awesome voice you had, and she thought you would win the whole thing. She was so angry when you were voted off, but she said she knew you would have an album out very soon. The minute it hit the shelves, Dawn had a copy; she wore it out playing it over and over at work and in her vehicle. She absolutely adored you and your music - "I'm Coming Home" was the closing song played at her funeral service on May 8.

Dawn worked at the Alexandria Opportunities Center DAC program that teaches adults with developmental disabilities the skills, attitudes, and behaviors they would need to eventually get a job in the community. She could always turn a frown upside down, providing encouragement, support, and a sense of delight to the task of learning what competitive employers expect of a good employee. Dawn loved her job and knew what it meant to everyone in the program; she helped many of our clients obtain jobs in our small west central Minnesota community. There is a huge void at work that will never be able to be filled now that she is gone.

Dawn's husband of over 17 years is an over-the-road-truck-driver, so Dawn had total responsibility for their home, being mom and friend for their 3 children, ages 11, 14, and 16. They just bought a home near Miltona, MN in December 2007; Dawn was excited about her first summer in their new home and the garden had just been tilled so she could grow vegetables for her family. She did not get the chance to plant her first seeds.

While driving home, Dawn lost control of her vehicle 2 miles from her house, hit an embankment, and overturned. She was killed instantly. Dawn had no life insurance and the auto insurance is only helping minimally. Her husband indicated they could not have afforded the house without Dawn's income and he will now need to quit truck driving to find local employment to be a single parent for the kids.

We (her co-workers and friends) are holding a benefit for Dawn's family to help them with all the new burdens they are facing at the VFW in Alexandria, MN on Saturday, June 21. Being such close friends with her for many years, we know first hand what a wonderful, caring mom she was to all 3 of her children. She was so involved in everything they did, from driving them to and from school every day, as well as transporting and cheering them on in all their after school activities. She truly loved her husband and gave him everything she possibly could to make his life better. We really worry about how they will be able to afford and keep their home that they worked so long and hard to obtain.

We will be holding a silent auction at the benefit and were hoping you could help Dawn's family by donating an autographed cd or ANYTHING to try to help her cause. We (and her family) would be so very grateful for whatever help you could give!!! Thank you SO MUCH for your time and consideration of this matter!!

Loved, loved, loved this song- I instantly downloaded it onto my IPod. The rest of their CD was a little hard for my tastes, but that's just me. Scars and Souvenirs CD was all around awesome, so I am going to buy the whole CD at the store. Had never heard of them, but because of you Chris, I checked them out- loved the song you co-wrote with them. Great lyrics, as usual!
